Lively Streets Of Oslob, Cebu | #Monomad Challenge

Hello there Black and White community, hope everyone is safe and doing well. For today’s content I will be sharing my snaps of the streets of Oslob, Cebu, particularly taken in the towns center where most of the people always come and go because it is where their public market is located as well. Which I think the best spot to take pictures of the everyday lives of individuals. And of course, I turned these photos into Black and White for these will be my entry for the #monomad challenge a daily photo contest initiated by @monochromes. Check out these photos below.

The towns public market is just along the high way which is very accessible to everyone and beside with it is the bus stop along with other public vehicles like tricycle wherein market goers can easily hire them. Just like this mother and daughter who just came out from the public market that clearly shows that the mother bought something to her child. On the other hand, these men on their bikes who seemed to know each other had a short chit chat on the bus stop while the man on the pedal bike is on his way to the public market.

Beside the public market is a lineup of eatery or carinderia as most Cebuano call it. It was exactly lunchtime at the moment I took photos at the towns center of Oslob, as you can see people are flocking to that certain area to have their lunch break all along. As you notice most of the eatery that were lining up haid its own signage named after its owner most probably.

Across the eatery is a remittance center where people are lining up as well. Waiting for their turn to be called out. Some of them are sitting on the chair provided by the remittance center while other are sitting on their motor bike. Here are some of the photos.

Along with the people in the remittance center are random individuals who come ang go in the side walk, so I took a snap of them as well. Here is the photo of an old woman walking in front of the remittance center and a little girl with her mother who finds shade in the same building where the remittance is located, and a boy who stands under the beach umbrella as if waiting for someone to fetch him up. Im so fond of street photography for I got the chance to capture the daily walks of life in all ages. Just like all the photos above.
