I Love My Circle of Friends

We all have that one friend that will never respect us no matter what we become in life, just check among your friends you will surely find one like that...

I had the opportunity to be in charge of refreshments in my uncle's wedding and you won't believe what happened. I was told the number of invited guess that will be gracing the occasion but since weddings aren't only for invited guest, I added to the proportion of food we are supposed to share at the wedding. This is thoughtful of me right..? I did this to avoid shortages in the wedding but my friends almost ruin my plans.

It was the best time of the wedding, the time to share food and drinks and behold these hoodlums came in in their numbers, don't worry, I am not referring to thieves here, my friends are actually the hoodlums. While I was trying to manage the overflow we had that day, these guys walked up to were I was loading the refreshment items and began to pick up whatever they wanted. I looked at Magdalene with a teary eyes and told her I needed to manage the food and drinks so that it will get to everybody in the wedding but these girls didn't care instead she laughed and picked another drink then ran away. What was I supposed to do to this girls to understand that this isn't my wedding and I'm on a hot seat and I needed to manage the food items so as to avoid scarcity in the wedding.

I had the opportunity to let every other person stay away from the kitchen but for my friends never! My circle of friends are just crazy, I am just assigned to manage the food aspect in this wedding but that wasn't their problem as long as it was their friend in charge of the food items.

Just when they're about to leave and I'm beginning to feel relief, Jennifer still picked up two takeaways of food on her way out, just imagine this girls! You see why I call them hoodlums right? According to her, she needs to eat before taking her drugs. I don't know what a sick person is doing at the wedding ground first of all and why she must eat two takeaways of food before she takes drugs, it's that some kind of newly invented chemistry I don't know?

These girls were actually ready for me but thank goodness I could manage the food and everything that day, the wedding was supper great last weekend, we received applause from different people about how nice our arrangement was.

Today being Wednesday, I'm just coming from the bank were I went to meet Magdalene my friend. She got employed on Monday to start working with the Union Bank and so I visited her today in the bank. Out of the long queue that was in the bank, I made my way to the front were it was Magdalene serving the customers. Normally she was supposed to ask me to go back since I didn't follow the queue but she was speechless, one good turn deserves another! She asked how she can be of help to me, so I asked her to borrow me money from the bank. She was like how horrible, she never knew it was horrible to come and feast on the food I was supposed to serve people at my uncle's wedding.

She said she doesn't have money and the money in the bank is for customers. Well, I'm a customer too and I need money, you need to see how she was begging me to go out of the bank, she knows how crazy our circle is. The interesting part is that, though we act crazy, we love each other so much and you dare not touch one among us. Since I wasn't on a mission of revenge to Magdalene, I respected her work place by picking up the bottle water on her table and leaving the bank premises, I would have love to knock on the bank managers door too but that will come later. You needed to see how she was looking at me as I leave the bank but she knows deep inside that her bottle water is my bottle water also. I love my circle of friends..
