Going back in time I bet you won't have done this, because I'm laughing and cringing at the memory. If I could go back in time, I'd hold the ears of my 13-year-old self and never try such a big mistake.😂😂

So this kissing thing took place when I got back from boarding school. I was on my holiday, and I wasn't really an outgoing person, so staying at home was okay to me as long as I didn't work. So my mom was getting tired of me just laying around after morning chores and not doing anything, so she decided to take me to go visit one of her friends, and this friend had a son that was very cute.

Yes, it was ‘first mistake at first sight’. I called it that because that wasn't love; it was just puberty kicking in. I could never forget his name, Great. His mom named him Great, for reasons best known to her; I'm not going to call her out for naming her child, and Great was actually a nice name, but the owner of the name wasn't so great.

So I was pretty naive and blind because, after that moment, I got to know Great, we became pretty close as friends; I would fantasize about how we grew up and got married. I'm actually cringing at the thought right now.🤣 And because we both accidentally broke our front teeth, we were just the perfect match made in heaven

So from that moment on, I anticipated going to visit Great; in fact, I was the one reminding my mom that we had to go to their house every Sunday, though nothing happened till we finally wanted to try the American kissing scene on television.

And that was the worst decision of my entire life because I was so grossed that I couldn't swallow my own saliva; I couldn't even wet my dried lips because I was avoiding tasting my lips so badly. I was so disgusted and disturbed that I had to go home before my mom. When I got home, the first thing I looked for was my toothbrush. My mom used to buy that big-size Oral B toothpaste. I finished half of it in my mouth. I scrub my lips like my whole life depends on it, till they get bruises, then I throw away my toothbrush.

Throughout that whole day, I could eat or feel my mouth, and the thought running through my head was, “Who sent me?” That was my first kiss, and it was horrible. But what was more terrible was that I found out Great had a girlfriend. I don't even know how I found out, but from that day on, I hated kissing, even until I became an adult. So Great wasn't such a great guy after all, and I learned a very good lesson: never fall for cute boys at first sight.

A few weeks later, I was off to school, and that became a memory. I actually forgot all about it till I saw this prompt, and I just wanted to share my funny experience.
