Practicing depth of field with B Wright!

When using a variable zoom constant aperture it's important to remember to extend the focal length to max distance and back up.
Example: 24mm-70mm 2.8 zoom lens
Rather than taking the photo at 24mm I step back and take the photo at 70mm. This is no secret but not as obvious as many may assume. The result is a shallower depth of field separating your subject from the background more.

Great pics, and that's a very good way to make your subject stand out in portraits. Well done!
