[ESP/ENG] Meet Kika, the beautiful abandoned Siamese cat.

Greetings to all the Hive Pets community.
I have been thinking a lot these last days about responsible pet ownership and as in every place I go I find owners who do not care about the welfare of their own animals.

I have several cats which have been rescued from the street, others were given up for adoption. Of course, first the people who took them had to go through an interview and make them understand that they had to take care of them responsibly. That meant that we gave them up sterilized, we did not want to continue with the vicious circle of abandonment.

But now we met an abandoned kitten again. I spoke in plural because my sister and I are the ones who always help stray animals.
In this specific case, a beautiful Siamese kitten appeared in her house.

He estado pensando mucho estos últimos días en la tenencia responsable de mascotas y como en cada lugar que voy encuentro dueños que no se preocupan por el bienestar de sus propios animales.
Tengo varios gatos que han sido rescatados de la calle, otros fueron dados en adopción. Por supuesto, primero las personas que se los llevaron tuvieron que pasar por una entrevista y hacerles entender que debían cuidarlos responsablemente. Eso significaba que los entregábamos esterilizados, no queríamos seguir con el círculo vicioso del abandono.
Pero ahora nos encontramos de nuevo con un gatito abandonado. Hablo en plural porque mi hermana y yo somos las que siempre ayudamos a los animales abandonados.
En este caso concreto, apareció en su casa una preciosa gatita siamés.

He arrived at a moment's notice trying to steal my sister's cat's food.
It was difficult to gain her trust, even by offering her food.
But my little niece Amanda started to approach her and the kitten understood that she should not be afraid.
Not being able to pronounce kitty my niece named her Kika.
We tried to look for her owner without success, we only found out that months ago she had been operated on for a tumor she had in her belly. The people who helped her said that after that Kika disappeared and they never heard from her again.

Llegó en un momento tratando de robar la comida del gato de mi hermana.
Fue difícil ganarse su confianza, incluso ofreciéndole comida.
Pero mi sobrina pequeña Amanda empezó a acercarse a ella y la gatita comprendió que no debía tener miedo.
Al no poder pronunciar gatita mi sobrina le puso el nombre de Kika.
Intentamos buscar a sus dueños sin éxito, sólo nos enteramos de que hace meses había sido operada de un tumor que tenía en la barriga. Las personas que la ayudaron dijeron que después de eso Kika desapareció y nunca más supieron de ella.

As you can see she is very photogenic, it is a pity that nobody wants to adopt her as she is very adult. Besides, my sister and I have many cats and dogs in our care and it is impossible to have her.
There is a male cat that also arrives and is very feisty because he wants to cross with the kittens in the street, a few weeks ago Kika fell because of him. Then the poor thing disappeared for several days, until she arrived again and we realized that she had a dislocated paw.
I also tell you that this blond cat has an owner, but it is a family that is not interested in this animal. Her tail is cut off and has rotted, you can see how irresponsible people are.
I can't help anymore, I have 9 cats in my care 😩.

Como podéis ver es muy fotogénica, es una pena que nadie quiera adoptarla ya que es muy adulta. Además, mi hermana y yo tenemos muchos gatos y perros a nuestro cargo y es imposible tenerla.
Hay un gato macho que también llega y es muy peleón porque quiere cruzarse con las gatitas de la calle, hace unas semanas Kika se cayó por su culpa. Luego la pobre desapareció varios días, hasta que llegó de nuevo y nos dimos cuenta que tenía una pata dislocada.
También les digo que este gato rubio tiene dueño, pero es una familia que no se interesa por este animal. Su cola está cortada y se ha podrido, se puede ver lo irresponsable que es la gente.
No puedo ayudar más, tengo 9 gatos a mi cargo 😩.

If you notice in the picture, one paw protrudes from the other. The bone has already welded that way, my sister will take her to the vet, although it is most likely that she will stay like that for good. But at least she will be checked, and she will have to be sterilized so that she doesn't have offspring.

It is said that Siamese cats are very active and sociable. The truth is that I am surprised that such a beautiful animal is in the street, it is known that humans have the habit of thinking that purebred pets are much more important than mestizos. That's why I find it strange that Kika was abandoned. I had never seen an animal of her type in the street, yes some Siamese crossbreeds but not a pure Siamese.
There are supposed to be 2 Siamese cat breeds, traditional and modern.
In Kika's case it's traditional, she is scared but very tender.

Sí se fijan en la foto, una pata sobresale de la otra. El hueso ya se ha soldado así, mi hermana la llevará al veterinario, aunque lo más probable es que se quede así para siempre. Pero al menos la revisarán y habrá que esterilizarla para que no tenga descendencia.
Se dice que los gatos siameses son muy activos y sociables. La verdad es que me sorprende que un animal tan bonito esté en la calle, ya se sabe que los humanos tienen la costumbre de pensar que las mascotas de raza son mucho más importantes que las mestizas. Por eso me parece extraño que Kika haya sido abandonada. Nunca había visto un animal de su tipo en la calle, sí algún cruce de siamés pero no un siamés puro.
Se supone que hay 2 razas de gatos siameses, la tradicional y la moderna.
En el caso de Kika es tradicional, es miedosa pero muy tierna.
