Wednesday walk: Our walk to elementary public school to vote
Hello Wednesday walkers!

Happy Halloween hivers and hope all of you have a great day upon celebrating all saints day. As of todays blog I want to share our walk to elementary public school to vote, it's an election for barangay officials 2023 in the Philippines. As a Filipino citizen it's my obligation to vote to the right person to be elected.

(The road outside our house)
Last October 30,2023 is the election day. The candidates been busy campaigning in different places. Every election me and my mother been together to vote because we have the same precinct but since she want to vote early, I didn't make it lol. Then she accompanied by my beloved father.
My youngest sister ask me if what time I'll vote, so I tell her maybe this afternoon. Then she said "I'll come with you okay". So I agree of course. The public school is very near on us so we just take a walk only with my sister Jacqueline.

(The store of my friend)
Around 1:00 pm while we're walking, we've been passing by the store of my friend Cherry. Actually she's my FD(franchise dealer) of AVON for many years. I tell my sister if she remember my Cherry of Avon then she said "yuhh I remember her". I tell her that she owned that SERESA LIGHTING. Then her daughter Siony Mae is an certified Civil engineer now. It's truly a wow for a single mom who struggled a lot for the both of them. Salute to my friend Cherry.

(The entrance gate of the public school)
After few minutes of walking were reaching the school gate. Then my sister Jacqueline buy some green mango outside the gate. The mango is really mouth watering for me hahaha. It's really yummy and crunchy.

(Mhe and my sister Jacqueline)
While we're entering the public school, the place was not so crowded as what I've expected. The place have different schools but our precinct is on the top lol. The Mangagoy Hilltop Elementary School so we just passing by the Mangagoy East Central elementary school.
The weather was so freaking hot a bit, thanks God there's a lot of trees at the corner. We can hide ourselves for a while. While we're walking I'm staring at the clouds. So nice and beautiful. We have a nice weather during election.

(That's my sister Jacqueline, the chubby one hehehe)

(The SPED school at the front of it is the Hilltop Elementary school)
At last were outside of the Mangagoy Hilltop Elementary school. I take a shot for my sister while she's walking hehehe. The SPED school also located at the top, same with the Hilltop school..it's quite tiring lol.
The hallway....

(We're just 4 in this precinct)

Presenting the hallway of Mangagoy Hilltop Elementary school. It's quite old but the whole place is very clean. Province be like right? There's a few people only voting that time so it's a good news for us so that we can go home early.
While we're walking we ask the teacher at the table, the outside one. My precinct is 95A then my sister Jacqueline is 91A. She tell us to checked our names at the wall. They posted it there. The other teacher guide us to search our names. And gotcha I've found mine. We're 4 only along with my parents and my eldest brother Nicholas. My 3 siblings been out of the list because of the absences in voting for many years.

(Done voting)
After I found my precinct, I get inside at the classroom to vote but I didn't captured any thing because I don't want to be scolded hehehe. Don't know if it is not allowed but I didn't see any notes at the blackboard. I prefer not to capture any thing inside the classroom.
For this election I just need to vote only the barangay captain and the kagawads. It takes a few minutes only and I'm done. I give my paper sheet to the teacher and the other teacher put some ink at one of my right finger. Now I'm officially done voting as what my photo that I attached above🥰. Hope the winning candidates will do their jobs as an elected barangay officials.

(Time to go home🥰)

After I vote, I fetch my sister Jacqueline to her precinct. While approaching her classroom she appear at the door in a few minutes hehehe. She said "let's go home now".
Having an introvert sister is very funny that even taking a selfies she don't want hahaha. I tell her that I will not posted it at Facebook so you don't need to worry. I will post it on my hive blogging site but she agree because no one knows her at hive😁.
That's all for todays blog and this is my entry to #Wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay. Thanks for visiting🤗...

The fighter mom,
@jeansapphire
Yeah! Well done, Cherry!
Well done on voting. I guess... I'm not sure I'm going to bother here in South Africa anymore. But that's a part of the problem so I will go and vote again this year.
I'm changing my vote though. Big time!
Happy #wednesdaywalk
Thank you and it's good to hear that you decided to vote also🤗.
Thanks for visiting...
This reminds me of voting in India. We do the same here, in a nearby Government school. The nails being painted in violet. Lovely collection of school photos along with voting.
Yes it it's painted with violet hahaha. Thanks for visiting and have a nice day ahead.
Going to vote is good civic responsibility. I hope it was an easy choices for you and it makes a difference. Glad to see the timing was good, I'll go after work next Tuesday here which will be busy.
Hey now that we seen your younger sister, is this the next Hive newbie, haha?
Voting is one of our responsibility. It's easy to choose because I know the deserving candidates to served in our barangay. So you will be having a busy day again, soon Bob hehehe.
It's a no no when it comes to my younger sister. Even at Facebook shes not always posting in her wall hahaha. I'm just the only one in my family could survived in blogging.
a nice walk you and your sister took to vote
Votign day in out city is next week but so many are unlike you and do not vote in the last election only 6% voted
Thanks for joining the Wednesday walk :)
Thank you po🤗. Some people don't like to vote because of the corruption. But I don't want to be pullout at the list because I didn't vote.
I will never understand how can they just paint your finger as a mark of voting :) We're in 2023. This is the second post I see about the election. There was another one yesterday, the user also had her nail inked 🙂
It's always like that since I've started to vote at the age of 18 until now. It takes few days or a week before the ink will gone hahaha.
Don't know also why...
We get a stamp on our ID and that's it. Voting is digitally monitored, so you can't vote twice anyway. Ink on my finger for a week 😩, I would go crazy 😄
Haizttt only in the Philippines hahaha. I tell the teacher "it takes one month before the ink will gone😁", the teacher just smiled on me.
Good for you and just stamping the id only.
That takes a lot of patience, sis!
Yes sis😁..apaka init pa hehehe. Maulan na umaga sis🤗.
Di bale at nakaboto ka na, sis. Good afternoon. Mainit today, sis pero kahapon umulan.
Uo nmn sis done voting na tlga. Nku umulan dito sis since madaling araw pa. Baliktad na nmn tayo ng weather.
Good job, sis! Stay dry indoors!
You're a good citizen, tita. Congratulations.
Thank you Nani🤗...
You guys back there at Philippines do the same voting routine as we do. I mean, vote on a sunday, purple ink on the little finger and the shining sun on top of all, haha. Great post and words, friend.
Hey we have same purple ink in our lil finger hehehe. Thanks for stopping by🤗.
