Hello Friends! Hope you're having a great day. I was able to write my thoughts again during our free time. I hope you will like what I have written.
This time I'm in the front seat
While you're in the back seat
But still, you did great
I'm proud we made it
An occasion that should be joyful
That wasn't that rejoiceful
Cause I felt a bit sorrowful
Another chapter awaits, but someone has departed.
No parents were around
Not wearing my best smile
Not satisfied with the make-up I had
I had only limited time to attend my graduation
Yet you shared a lit of your smile
Made an effort to approach me
My parents were not present for the first time
Cause uncle's wake cannot be left.
I put the mortar board on your head
While your mother was looking
I didn't think it was appropriate
Cause at that moment, I'm preoccupied.
Thinking if I can finish our graduation
Either enjoy the best part of high school
If mourning was the center of the heart
While marching on the center aisle.
You smile when passing the front seat
I'm in academics, you're active in nonacademics
Too humble for your personality
Yet too naive to be proud.
In our high school graduation
I arrived early, that's not me
You arrived late, that's not you either
But I left early, not looking at the back seat.
