Sole Searching for Success: The Rise of Sole SPot Tandag

My brother and I recently decided to start an online shoe business called Sole Spot Tandag. As a social media manager and a graphics designer, I knew I could use my skills to give us an edge over our local competitors.

Starting an online business can be a daunting task, especially when you're doing it with your brother. We had to consider everything from what types of shoes to sell, to how we were going to market and promote the business. But we were both passionate about shoes and saw a gap in the market for affordable, fashionable options in our area.

I began by designing a sleek, modern facebook page that would showcase our products and make it easy for customers to make purchases. My brother, who has a background in e-commerce, handled the logistics of setting up the facebook store and making sure everything ran smoothly.

Once the facebook page was up and running, we turned to marketing. I knew that social media would be key to getting our brand out there and attracting customers. I used my skills as a social media manager to create a strong presence on platforms like Instagram and Facebook, posting regular updates and engaging with our followers.

In addition to social media, I also used my skills as a graphics designer to create eye-catching graphics and promotions to drive traffic to our website. We offered discounts and promotions to our followers, and even hosted a few giveaways to drum up excitement around our brand.

Good luck on your business. Does your supplier also in the Philippines or are they outside the country? I find that these days it's a bit challenging to find trusted suppliers and high quality materials.

My Supplier is from the Philippines. This is the second time we ordered from them. I really like how they handle volumes of order. :)

In the past I was doing an export and import selling collectible tamagotchi. I mostly get them from Japan. But I am mostly working to help brands with copywriting for their stores. So I often have to talk to suppliers to get details of their product and such.
