Hello everyone, welcome to my post. I am new to Hive. I learned about this platform from my husband Rayhan (@rayhanhiveman). He told me that you can blog here. Besides writing, you can also earn. I was completely surprised after hearing what he said, so I thought since he is saying so much, then let me try it. My name is Jennifer. My parents were Christians, so my name is like this. My husband is Muslim, so I did not change my name later because my husband thinks that religion is everyone's personal matter. But now I do purdah because my husband is Muslim, so I do it to respect him. I really like writing. Because my parents died when I was little, I could not study very far. For this reason, I am very weak in English, so I apologize. I wrote the post in Bengali and translated it into English using a translator, so please do not think that I used AI or something. I know that here everyone has to write posts by themselves, otherwise it is seen badly. I will try so that no rules are broken by me.

I live in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with my husband and my two children. I really like cooking, but my husband does not let me cook. Most of the time he cooks and also takes care of the children. My favorite color is blue. Besides that, I spend my free time watching dramas or movies. Sometimes I also have to watch cartoons with the children, as parents, these things have to be done. There is nothing to do about this because I grew up without parents, so I feel that my children should not suffer like that. Besides that, I also like drawing, but I am not very good at it. I like travelling with my family. My hobby is writing.

Anyway, I really like writing in Bengali because this is the one thing that I can do well. It is not that I cannot use English at all. I can, but I can use only some words, making sentences is very difficult for me and I do not understand English very well. I hope I will not have any problem adjusting here because of my language. At first I did not want to come here because I cannot speak English and I did not want to become a laughing stock.

হ্যালো সবাইকে আমার পোস্ট এ স্বাগতম। আমি Hive এ নতুন এসেসি। এই প্লাটফর্ম সম্পর্ক জানতে পারলাম আমার হাসব্যান্ড রায়হান (@rayhanhiveman) থেকে। ও বল্লো যে এইখানে নাকি ব্লগগিন করা যাই। তাছাড়া লেখা লেখির পাশা পাশি earn করা যাই। আমিতো পুরাই অবাক তার কথা শুনে তাই ভাবলাম যখন এতোই বলছে তাহলে ট্রাই করে দেখি। আমার নাম জেঁনিফার আমার মা বাবা খ্রীষ্টাণ ছিলেন তাই আমার নাম টা এইরকম। আমার হাসব্যান্ড মুসলিম তাই আমি পরে আমার নাম চেঞ্জ করিনি কারণ আমার হাসব্যান্ড মনে করে ধর্ম যার যার ব্যক্তিগত বেপার। কিন্তু আমি এখন পর্দা করি যেহেতু আমার হুডব্যান্ড মুসলিম তাই আমি তার সম্মান এর জন্য করি। আমার খুবই ভালো লাগে লেখা লেখি করতে। বাবা মা ছোট থাকতে মারা যাওয়ার কারণে আমি পড়াশুনা বেশী দূর করতে পারিনি। এইজন্য আমি ইংলিশ এ খুবই কাঁচা তাই আমি ক্ষমাপার্থি। পোস্ট টা আমি বাংলা তে লিখেছি এবং সেইটা ট্রান্সলেটর দিয়ে ইংলিশ করেছি তাই কেউ মনে কোরবেন না যে আমি এআই বা কিছুই ব্যবহার করেছি। আমি জানি এইখানে সবাইকে নিজ থেকে লেখে পোস্ট দিতে হই নাহলে সেইটা খারাপ ভাবে দেখা হই। আমি চেষ্টা করবো যেনো কোনো রুলস আমার দ্বারা ভঙ্গ না হই।
আমি বাংলাদেশে বসবোসবাশ করি ঢাকা তে আমার হুডব্যান্ড এবং আমার দুই বাচ্চাদের সাথে। আমি রান্না করতে খুবই পছন্দ করি কিন্তু আমার হাসব্যান্ড আমাকে রান্না করতে দেয়না। বেশির ভাগ সময় সেই রান্না করে আর বাচ্চাদের ও দেখা শুনা করে। আমার পছন্দের কালার হচ্ছে নীল, তাছাড়া আমি আমার বিরতি সময় টা পারি করি নাটক বা মুভি দেখি। মাঝে মধ্যে বাচ্চাদের সাথে কার্টুন ও দেখা লাগে, বাবা মা হলে এইসব তো করাই লাগে। কিছুই করার নেই এই বিষয় যেহেতু আমি বাবা মা ছাড়া বড়ো হয়েছি তাই আমার কাছে মনে হই আমার বাচ্চা রা যেনো সেই রকম কষ্ট না পাই। তাছাড়া আমি আঁকাকি ও পছন্দ করি কিন্তু তেমন ভালো না। আমার ঘুরে ঘুরি করতে ভালো লাগে ফ্যামিলি এর সাথে। আমার হেব্বি হচ্ছে লেখা লেখি করা।
যাইহোক আমি বাংলা তে লিখতে অনেক পছন্দ করি যেহেতু এই একটা জিনিস যেইটা আমি ভালো পারি। এমন না যে ইংলিশ একদম ইউস করতে পারিনা। পারি কিন্তু কিছুই ওয়ার্ডস ইউস করতে পারি সেন্টেন্স বানানো আমার জন্য খুবই কঠিন এবং আমি ইংলিশ তেমন বুঝিনা। আশা করি মত ভাষার কারণে এইখানে আমার এডজাস্ট করতে কোনো সমস্যা হবে না। প্রথমে আমি চাইছিলাম না এইখানে আসতে কারণ আমি ইংলিশ পারিনা এবং হাসির পাত্র হতে চাচ্ছিলাম না।
আপনারা চাউলে আমাকে Hive এ ফলো করতে পারেন বা আমার ইনস্টাগ্রাম এ ফলো করতে পারেন , বেশির ভাগ্ সময় আমি আমার লাইফস্টাইল আর নাটক এর রিভিউ দিতে পারি কিন্তু বেশী সময় পাইনা যেহেতু বাচ্চাদের দেখা শুনা করতে হই। আশা করি সবাই আমার ব্লগস পড়তে পছন্দ করবেন। আপনারা সবাই ভালো থাকবেন এবং আমার ফ্যামিলি এর জন্য দুআ করবেন, ধন্যবাদ।

I’d just like to make one suggestion for your future posts: add a note at the end explaining that you’re writing in Bengali and using a translator to convert it into English. That’s what I do (I write in Spanish) and I’ve never had any problems.

Looking after your children and your husband is already a huge full-time job, hehe, so I hope they’ll leave you some time to share your writing with us.
