Hello happy day creative needlewomen.
In this opportunity I want to tell you about one of my experiences in teaching sewing.
A few years ago I started a course in Fashion Design but as I can not leave aside my teaching vein. I proposed to the designer. I proposed to the designer to do some vacation courses for children.
She very motivated accepted and we started the journey through this process.
We call it "Designers of the future". In this way not only the girls would learn about the use of machines. They would also learn how to design their own clothes.
The holiday workshop lasted 5 days where we did various activities including.
Drawing and design
Taking measurements
Pattern making of skirt and blouse
Cutting the pieces to size
Use of the machine and sewing of the garment.
It was a week of games and fun for the girls, who learned to make their garments and to love sewing.
At the end there was a parade of their pieces where the parents attended.
It was a great surprise to see. How each one took care of the details.
We also had delicious snacks with ice cream and other goodies.
An experience to repeat and continue sowing these designers of the future.

En esta oportunidad deseo contarles un de mis experiencias en la enseñanza de la costura.
Hace unos años inicie un curso de Diseño de modas pero como no puedo dejar a un lado mi vena docente. Le propuse a la diseñadora. Realizar unos cursos vacacionales para niños.
Ella muy motivada acepto e iniciamos el recorrido por este proceso .
Lo llámanos "Diseñadores del futuro". De esta manera no solo las niñas conocerían del uso de las máquinas. Sino que aprenderían a diseñar sus propias prendas.
El taller vacacional tuvo una duración de 5 días dónde realizamos diversas actividades entre ellas.
Dibujo y diseño
Toma de medidas
Patronaje de falda y blusa
Corte de las piezas a la medida
Uso de la máquina y costura de la prenda.
Fue una semana de chicas entre juegos, diversión, aprendieron a realizar sus prendas y a tomar amor a la costura.
Al final se realizó un desfile de sus piezas dónde asistieron los padres.
Fue una gran sorpresa ver. Cómo cada una cuidada los detalles
También teníamos deliciosas meriendas con helados y otras chucherías.
Una experiencia para repetir y seguir sembrando a estas diseñadoras del futuro

Yes, it is a lot of fun, there are some who find it hard to let go of the cell phone, but they move forward.
Wow this is a great idea and I'm thrilled by your idea to the designer, in few years this children would have been so good.
