Cabbage and carrots patties

Vegetables is one among the original diets given by our Creator at the beginning of the human race.

Nowadays, most kids don't like to eat vegetables. They prefer to eat canned goods, noodles, hotdog and any processed foods. As possible, I want my son to love vegetables.

We prefer to eat plant based food so we used to buy more vegetables than meat or processed food.

I am happy that my son grows loving vegetables. Sometimes it is my problem on what to cook or how to cook so it will have some variation.

Patties is one among his favorite. I have shared different vegetable patties here before and for today's blog I will be sharing on how to cook cabbage and carrots patties.

Ingredients:

1 small size cabbage
2 small size carrots
2 xl size eggs
1 cup 3rd class flour
1 Onion
2 clove garlic
Salt to taste
Cooking oil for frying

Procedure

STEP 1. Finely chopped cabbage and wash them thoroughly. Drain and set aside.

STEP 2. Wash the carrots, peel it and chopped it finely. You can also grate the carrots.

STEP 3. Peel and slice the onions and garlic finely.

STEP 4. Mix the chopped cabbage, carrots, onions, garlic and one cup flour. Put some salt according to your preference.

STEP 4. Mix eggs with some salt to taste and then mix it to the dry mixture of vegetables and flour.

After mixing, it will look like this☝️.

STEP 5. Pre-heat the pan and put cooking oil. Let it boil. While waiting, you can prepare some mixture ready for frying.

When the oil is already boiling, you can now put one tablespoon of the mixture or it depends on your preferred size. You can also make it into balls but in my case I just make it flattened because I have a limited cooking oil.

When it is golden brown, it is ready. Turn it upside down and after a few minutes it will be ready to serve.

You can put finished product in the paper towel or tissue to remove excess oil.

Our CABBAGE AND CARROT PATTIES is now ready. You can serve it with your favorite sauce or catsup.

Pag talaga parents mas nagiging madiskarte ano, lalo na para sa ikabubuti ng kids, hihi. This is a much healthier version of patties. No meat, just veggies, I love it. Ang maganda makakakain din pati mga adults. What's awesome pa is dahil niluto with love ng Mother, talagang masarap yarm ✨🤤.

Nakagawa na din ako dati ng patties made out of cabbage lang. Dami kasing cabbage na nabili tas baka masira na kaya ayon. Basta woth right ingredients and it is well seasoned, parang madadaig pa yong sa burger steak ng jabee hahaha

Yes kapag nanay kana, mapapaisip ka talaga what to prepare for the kids na healthy and palatable for them. Syempre with love. Sa iba di masarap Yan kasi I am not using any seasoning, Walang vetsin, magic sarap or ano Yan, only salt hehehe pero sarap na sarap na Yan para Kay Sam2 hehehe

Yes it is really easy, you can use any vegetables you want. If a vegetable can't be eaten raw, you just need to cook it first and smash then the process is just the same.

Kids usually don't eat vegetables directly but they can eat vegetables through this recipe.

Looks yum sis @jenthoughts. I haven't tried making patties na walang meat. Although cabbage is always that veggie na meron ako as it is low carb. Cabbage rice, cabbage pancakes are a few of my fave dishes to make. Might wanna try your recipe soon. Thanks for sharing!
