August 6, 2020--Practice Blog in the time of the virus

Got to perform today, for a change. One of the former professors at the school I teach at passed away last week and her funeral was today. Had a small quartet and piano for the service. I hope more of these will start coming my way. Not that I want people to die, but the pay is nice.

I also finally got my Hauptwerke setup and downloaded onto my desktop. Don't have pedals set up yet and probably won't in the 14 day trial period, but I am looking forward to doing practicing at home.

On the organ, I worked on the 13th movement from Couperin's Mass for the Convents (recording above), Bach's BWV 640, and Buxtehude's F major Toccata.
