A piece that can easily come back quickly around Advent and Christmas as a postlude, the Quant Jesus naquit a Noel by Beauvarlet-Charpentier follows the tradition of Noel improvisations. Here is just the theme from No. 10 of the 12 Noels in the collection. I went for a big French registration--Principal chorus with mixtures, flutes 8' and 4', and Reeds 16', 8', and 4'. Enjoy.
