November 30, 2021--Prelude on Tif in Videle by Wayne Wold

I encountered Wayne Wold's music a couple years ago while I was working on my Service Playing Certification through the AGO. I am always surprised at how creative he is with his hymn settings. This particular setting of the Yiddish tune "Tif in Videle" is just one example. It sounds unlike any of the other preludes I have worked on by him, and yet it is refreshing to play and listen to. The hymn tune is being played on a Clarion 4' on the Swell (transposed down an octave) and accompanied by 8' and 4' flutes on the Great Manual and 16' and 8' flutes in the pedals. I hope you enjoy.
