Every news cannot be given in the news. Our government has forbidden that such things should not be known to the people, especially to the people of other countries, that's why there are very few such news. Which is in the news.
You said this guy had KILLED ALL THE PEOPLE, that kind of news could NOT be hidden, because all the PEOPLE in the GOVERNMENT would also be dead.
