Durant becomes the highest-scoring player in Team USA history
American professional basketball player Kevin Durant just became the top scorer in the history of team USA after his performance in the 119-84 win against Czech Republic.
The Brooklyn small forward registered 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists that helped his national side advance to the quarter final of the Tokyo Olympics.
His total tally in the Olympics now moves to 354 points after the additional points in the first three games of the competition. He now surpasses Carmelo Anthony's record of 336.
Team USA will now be looking forward to face their next opponent in the quarter final which will be decided today after a draw.
