How I Found Hive and Fell in Love with It

Hello, Hive Ghana community. I will respond to one of the community's questions in this blog post.

How did I discover Hive?

Hive was first introduced to me by my fellow bloggers when Uptrennd crashed. It used to be an extremely vibrant crypto blogging platform. I was surprised to find out how many opportunities Hive had to offer. From its own token to its own in-built editor, it seemed like the perfect place for me to start blogging. I decided to give it a try and now you can call me a regular contributor to the Hive community.

When that platform (Uptrennd) crashed, many people weren't happy. However, we moved on and that's when I saw my fellow bloggers chatting and talking about Steemit on the discord server we were on at the time and I asked if they could tell me more about it.

Around that time, I believe Steemit changed to Hive, but I don't remember much. Even though I did not take it very seriously at the time, I even created an account and tried to explore the site, but it was so complex and difficult for me to understand it. The system was totally different from Uptrennd's.

In the year 2021, in May, I inquired about Hive and asked a fellow blogger about it. I asked her how she made money from the site called Hive, and she laughed her heart out when I asked. It was fascinating to hear her explain everything, down to how she trades her tokens when she wishes to sell.

Having explained everything to me, she helped me create an account because I didn't understand how to do it. When she created the account, she sent me my keys, which was around May. I abandoned everything about my account after it was created until a month later.

My offline job was taking up much of my time when I had an account, so I couldn't focus on it. When I returned to my account, I began writing and I felt I had begun to understand it at some point. I started to learn more and more about the platform. My writing skills improved and soon I was getting positive feedback from my readers. This motivated me to keep writing and improving.

In the beginning, my blog posts were really poor, I only cared about making money here and nothing else, but across the years, things have changed. I'm still here for the money, but I'm always excited to share my thoughts on any topic in every community.

How am I enjoying Hive currently?

The Hive platform has become one of my main sources of income, as well as one of my online jobs, in addition to my offline job. It has become a place where I write and express my thoughts. I am able to network with people with whom I have a common interest. It is no longer a place I visit alone to earn money.

Hive has given me communities like Afritunes and Hive Open mic, which have allowed me to freely do my favorite hobby, which is singing, and also improve in it. In terms of money, Hive has been a blessing. However, I am currently powering down my HP because I have to meet urgent needs.

My plan is to power up again when possible and set my post payout to 100% power up. I am confident that as I keep getting support, I will be able to rebuild it and surpass my previous HP amount in a short while.

Additionally, I have been putting in more effort this year to produce quality posts on the blockchain. When I started out, I didn't have a niche; however, now I can say that I specialize in the music community on the blockchain, although I continue to explore other communities as well.

In addition to music communities, I also join contests to make myself known in other communities, and have recently learned about the #Ghana and #hiveghana community and the interesting topics it presents its users.

As part of my journey on Hive, I also discovered this community. This is because I'm always interested in exploring and sharing with various communities what I can contribute to.

It has been a great experience for me being on the Hive blockchain because I've learned a lot from interacting with others, and have also been able to share some of my knowledge and experiences. I'm looking forward to continuing to be involved in this community and engaging with more people!

I am excited to see what the future holds for the Hive blockchain, and I am confident that with the right minds working together, it can reach even greater heights. I believe that the Hive blockchain has the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with each other and the world.
