Life's Meaning: A Personal Exploration

Life! What is life?
The question for some may seem like one that is very easy for anybody to answer...

Do you think it is possible for a new-born baby to be able to define life from their perspective? For a second, I thought that was outrageously impossible. But then, what if we think about it from a different persperctive? What if babies could express themselves by talking?

I remember years back during my elementary education, I read a story that insinuated that there was a time babies could talk and the reason why a god at that time had to make them stop was because they weren't mature enough and would say anyting not minding how it would affect others.

So far, with my experiences in life, I think I can say one or two from my perspective.

Life is filled with a bitter-sweet experience.

At some point in my life's journey, I took a decision that disrupted what I would consider a normal growth pattern and I stayed in that state for a very long time. At some point, it felt like I had given my life away to someone else or something to control.

Recently, I saw the need to take charge of my life and seeing how that went, I realised that I had been my own problem all along.

Life is a lesson; I don't think one ever graduates from the school of life; well, of course, death knocks.

Now speaking of purpose, If I were asked a few years ago, I know I would definitely struggle to give an answer. I feel that my purpose in life is not too live for myself alone but live a life that positively impacts those around me.

My point is, Life's meaning is deeply personal and definitely means different things to different people. Some may find meaning through relationships, service to others, personal growth, or a connection to something greater than themselves.

However, for me it is about find a balance between self-care and caring for those around me. The bittersweet experiences I have had has led you to realize that I was getting in my own way all along, and taking charge of my life and using it to positively impact others is what truly fulfills me.

In my perspective, purpose signifies leading a existence that extends beyond solely oneself and creating an impact for those within my circle of impact, and that notion is one that I respect. I aspire to leave the world in a improved condition than when I first encountered it, through the minor yet significant deeds I carry out daily. I am aware that as I progress on my journey in life, I will persist in delving into this feeling of purpose.

I know that as I continue on my life's journey, I will keep exploring this sense of purpose. I have to keep thinking of specific ways that I can you use my unique talents, experiences and passions to uplift and empower others. I know that I have to lead by example and inspire those around me to also live more purposeful lives.

Keep in mind, the essence of existence is not a set endpoint, but instead a continuous journey. Show patience and kindness towards yourself, keep expanding your knowledge and evolving, and have faith that your mission will reveal itself in significant and unforeseen ways. Society could benefit from more individuals like you who are dedicated to creating a beneficial impact.
