Greetings to everyone in the Hive open mic community. For this week's live performances, I am delighted to share the song I chose with you all.

After checking the translation of this week's theme in English, I saw that it meant 'to the end'.

'I will follow' by Dunsin Oyekan came to mind as a song that talks about always being available, dependable, reliable, and ready to follow Jesus.

When one decides to follow the Lord, it means they have decided to let go of the things of this world. This is because it is impossible to serve two masters.

No matter how one tries, it is possible to follow two masters, but at some point, you will only confuse yourself.

It is easy to get distracted by the world and that is why we are limited to all that we can enjoy in Jesus. As the song says, I will follow you (Jesus Christ) till the end of time, it doesn't matter if things are rosy or stormy, in any situation I may be in, I am committed to following the Lord, Jesus Christ, until the end.

I know when I follow Jesus, I experience a peace that passes all understanding. My heart will always be filled with overflowing joy and I shall lack nothing.

In the scriptures, Psalm chapter 23 says that the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

Many verses in the scripture reassure us of God's promises for us. It assures us of all we can and will enjoy when we follow Jesus.

When we follow Him, we do not have to be scared of storms. Remember a Bible story when Jesus was on a boat with his disciples? The storm was so intense that the disciples feared they would all die. Meanwhile, Jesus slept peacefully in the boat until one of his disciples woke him up so he could know what was happening.

Jesus wasn't frightened by the storm. All he said was 'Peace be still' and immediately everything calmed down.

We are shown in this story that there is no need to be scared when we are with Jesus Christ.
