My Perfect Saturday: A Dream Yet to Come True #140

Have I ever had a perfect Saturday? I can't think of a single one. Every Saturday has been filled with either work, chores, or other responsibilities. I can only hope that in the future I'll be able to spend a perfect Saturday doing whatever I want.

The saying is true that no one is perfect and we don't have to expect perfection from this world. We have to accept the imperfections of life and the world. The best we can do is to make the most of the time we have and enjoy the little moments that make life worth living.

When it comes to a typical Saturday for me, I always wake up early, begin my editing job as early as possible, and then take my bath at 12PM if I don't have clothes to wash. If I do have clothes to wash, after washing, I take a bath, eat, and wait until 1:45 p.m. before heading to rehearsal at church.

After rehearsal, I usually take a break to relax a bit before starting to work again. I spend the rest of the evening either catching up on my work or doing something fun like watching a movie or playing a game. I make sure to be in bed by 10 pm so I can be well-rested for the next day.

The next day is Sunday. I usually get up early on Sundays to get ready for church; I have to make myself available at 8:00 am as a chorister.

After church, I usually spend the rest of the day relaxing and spending time with family. I also take the time to reflect on the week's events and plan for the upcoming week. By the evening, I'm usually ready to go to bed and start the week anew.

One thing I don't joke with a getting a good nap on Sundays I find that a good Sunday nap helps me to reset and recharge for the upcoming week. Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life helps me to stay focused and keeps me productive.

In summary, I have not really had a perfect Saturday, for me, a perfect Saturday would be a day where I get to do what I want to do, eat what I want to eat, make the most money I can for that day without working so hard for it, and watch as many movies as I wish without falling asleep or having a flat battery because of a power outage. In short, a perfect Saturday would be a day of relaxation and enjoyment, with no stress or worries. I hope that one day I can experience this perfect Saturday.

In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy Saturdays I'm lucky enough to have I'll make an effort to savor the small moments of joy and contentment, which will hopefully serve as a reminder that I can still find happiness in life, even if I haven't yet achieved my ideal Saturday. I'll also remind myself to be thankful for these precious moments, and to strive to make the most of them.

My sister we are just in the same shoe😀. Yours is even better, you just have Saturday to deal with. I have come to realize that Sunday is my worst day of the week. Being my Church main keyboardist I have to be available for all the Church Services, and I end up getting home by 2 to 3pm. I still got to chill out with friends; and at the end of the day, weekend become more stressful than week days😀

Oh, I can imagine what it is like, to be the main keyboardist in the church.
3pm is very late. Do you go to those churches where they run multiple services?
I'm sure you would still be able to balance all and find time to rest on those Sundays hehe

I got at least 3 services to handle every Sunday. But I am partially on break from all that for now; I am currently on my NYSC service year, but I am still a Chorister over here but not with much responsibilities.

Being able to have the money insured to take a Saturday off is something that many of us want, but you have to enjoy the little joys of the days 😊
