Protecting My Little Sister

In my blogpost today, I will be sharing a story from back in the days when I used to be called names like Commando and Powerful.

Funfact: My class mates nicknamed me Eba. Lol.

In response to the Hive Learners topic which starts today and will end tomorrow, I want to share with you all about how I tried to protect my little sister from some trouble that was coming her way. She was still a very young girl, and was just in primary school at that time. But she had a mind that was too sharp for her age. She was a bright kid, but it always causes her trouble in school from bullies sometimes because she questioned everything too much.

So this day, as she was going to school, some boys in her class started touching her body inappropriately, doing some kind of funny stuff that wasn't good at all. When my sister told me all about what had happened, it almost made me lose my mind! How could some small children be doing this kind of nonsense? What's that?

I tried talking to the principal about it, but he refused to do anything, saying it was a small child's matter. It really angered me. They weren't taking this kind of thing seriously at all. So I decided that I was going to handle the problem myself by force if need be.

I woke up very early that morning when my sister was going to school, I hid in a corner waiting for those silly boys to show up. My eyes were wide open, looking at every angle. I didn't want to miss them at all.

When they finally came out, I rushed to meet them like a cat pursuing a rat, grabbed them tightly by their shirts, lifted them up and warned them seriously also instilling fear in them. (I could feel the effect from the name commando was kicking in at that point. LoL)

I told them, "Have you gone crazy or what? Do you have no shame at all? How dare you do that kind of thing to my sister? You'd better leave her alone, because if I ever hear or see that you did anything to her again, there will be serious trouble!" I shook them up and down to instill fear in their bodies.

They then started to beg, crying that they would never do it again. I looked into their eyes, and showed them that I wasn't joking at all. I had meant every word I said, if they ever tried it, they would see pepper!

After I was done scolding them, I left them there, they were standing also holding themselves, one could see in their eyes that the action I took really frightened them, it wasn't something they expected.

When I turned back to see if they were still there, I saw them running away as if Lucifer himself was pursuing them.

From that day on, nobody, I mean nobody at all, troubled my sister again in that school. The principal who had acted like it wasn't a serious matter, started behaving as he should as a principal after he heard what happened.

You see, you must always protect your loved ones, don't let anyone do anything to them. Sometimes it is when force is applied that they get to understand. If you just beg or raise your voice, some people won't agree to listen to you. I think people respect action more.

At that time after I had settled that case, some parents appreciated me for doing well. They told me not to mind the school's principal, and said that what I did was what the school should have done long ago but refused.

Family is family, you have to do what you can to protect them. If it means fighting, you'll fight. If it means paying money, you'll pay. Anything to keep your loved ones safe and away from trouble, that's what you'll do.

So that's my story, how I went to great lengths to protect my little sister from some silly boys who were troubling and bullying her at school. It was hard, but I had to do it to ensure that she was okay.

Conclusion: At the end of the day, love and loyalty to your family are paramount. If anyone tries to trouble or do anything to your loved ones, don't let it slide like that. Put your foot down, show the person that you're not joking.

Protect your family with everything you've got, by force if need be. Don't allow bad people to disturb your loved ones at all. Do whatever you have to do to keep them safe and happy. That is the most important thing in this life.

Sometimes, action does things better than words would. Some people would not take it seriously if you do not mean business by doing the reverse of what you wouldn't want to do thinking if things are done in a calm way, peace would reign but no. Some people do not respect you if you do not apply some madness 🤣🤣

That exactly how I feel too. Action does speak louder.

You were really a commando o, but the one that shocked me was that Eba nickname 😂 that is wild.

The principal should be very ashamed of himself for not handling the matter. He is calling it child's matter, I wonder if he will say the same thing if his own daughter is the one being molested

Actions speak louder than words in many cases, showing you care deeply for one by protecting them the right decision.

Children often feel neglected with parents who do not care enough to be present with discipline.

Boys or girls makes no difference if done properly once they will remember throughout their life to not be disrespectful to others.
