First ever Pageant Competition that I've ever been in my whole life | Won Best in Gown Competition 🙌 | 52nd Founding Anniversary of our beloved School

Hi there 👋 my fellow hiverians, a little bit late to share this but it's better late than never right and been a while since I'm into this writing and engaging in the community, it's hard to catch up as always but believe me I'm really trying my best to reach this site but sad to say most of the time there is always an obstacle to stop me, like responsibilities at home and even in school and then sometimes my focus is unto scrolling Facebook but as of now I'm trying hard to remind myself of my goal by the way that's enough for my explanation hehe can't wait to share my experience during this pageant

(just wanna give an overview back to the start of all this..)
Last week of December, our dear teacher call for a homeroom meeting together with the parents of every students, and so there are many agendas they tackled about and one of the agenda is about the representative for the coming 52nd foundation day of the school, there are many debates, disagreements whom will gonna be the representative for our section but then it ends to voting which is every parents will pick a paper and whoever gets the paper with a star then their son/daughter will be the representative that's what they agreed on every parents so yeah the voting had started but while waiting for my mother's turn to vote, I talked to God, Lord please not me but then the answer is hahaha opposite, it's me Jess and I have no choice anymore since that's what they agreed on and yeah I have no choice but to accept the challenge, I'll take it as a challenge.

DURING THE PREPARATION
It wasn't really smooth flow of preparation, I've been super busy that week before the event, good thing is that we had a one week vacation or mid break, it was really helpful at all like choosing what a gown to wear a casual and even a high waisted pants for our production number, it was really a busy days and week.

One of my classmate accompany me to find a gown or casual that suits for me and I'm glad there's one that volunteered abd willing to help so we did found a dress that might suit on me but I wasn't able to choose out of the tree, the blue, black and white I just said to the boutique owner that we will go back if we had decided what to choose and rent as you can see in the picture they're all beautiful but there's still more that I'm looking forward to.

So without further ado, the night had end and the morning had come and the day had finally come for the most awaited moments for my first ever pageant contest... My dear make up artist did their best for me to look like a different woman that anyone who can see might not recognize me for the big change hehe and so here are the pictures during my make over I wasn't totally comfortable having this contact lens it really hurts my eyes, it is really my first time and that moment I can't explain my feeling, a little bit nervous and 100% uncomfortable huhuhu

yeah this is the results of the first make over for the production number as the introductory part of the program

The program had started at exactly 2pm and I was already there at the back stage waiting for our dance as production number I wasn't really comfortable at all cause it's so hot at the back stage but still I was able to manage it till the end of our production number, now I would like to share some capture or shorts of my ate Jean or known as junebride here in hive, she posted this photos in her page at Facebook named @Stills and Motion

so here I am guys my energy and confidence level is not totally as high as the other candidates I don't why but maybe I wasn't really prepared and a little bit insecured with myself hehe

LET'S MOVED ON TO THE CASUAL WEAR COMPETITION

just one two three.... slayyy gurl trying my really best at that moment though I cannot say hundred percent that my smile is genuine but yeah there's a little bit genuine smile hehe

a smile that can change a bad mood to good mood haha can't imagine how beautiful I am on the stage

GOWN COMPETITION.....

This is the most challenging but interesting part of my walk hehe, I'm glad that ate Jean was able to capture a moments of myself with my walk and as you can see below my face is beyond happy and inside truly blessed for this experience even though it's my first time just scroll down and you'll see..

and yeah a little bit moody at this moment, I can't even hear the support of my dear classmates and good thing that my GCBC FAMILY was there with full potential and effort to support me and give me a glimpse of reason to smile

and meet my beautiful make-up artist, it's Micah from his boy name to gurl and the other one is Venzon he's not totally as seen as gay but he's a make-up artist, really thankful and grateful I am for their support to me during the competition, though it was really challenging for me besides I'm grateful for that experience, I really believed the quote that they always say"experience is the best teacher" and I'm thankful for that experience and a big challenge for me personally

And...... FOR THE MOST AWAITED PART is... the announcement of winners in every level of competition...

There is one section or student together with her boyfriend, both of them almost killed all the rewards from production number, casual wear, and I forgot the other reward while listening to the announcement I was just thinking it's time for the gown wear competition, our dear host no other than Mr. Gilbert said "For the gown competition, the winner is candidate is.... tsug tsug tsug (the loud sound of the speaker) no other than Candidate number 18 wuhooo which is my number and additional Ms. Jessica will also received a cash prize from the SK Chairman of our dear Barangay and at that moment I can't explain my feelings cause I didn't really expect that I will be winning the gown competition during that moments

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanksgiving for the support of my dear adviser sir Jayr Ocio especially in terms of motivation, he said to me, wether I lose or win I am always a winner for them, he added just enjoy the show, enjoy the stage cause it's all mins whenever I get into it

Also without the support of my dear mother I don't know where I will be picked though I was little bit angry with my mother hehe cause most of the time whenever my expectations wouldn't be meet I'm just like angry even though a little issue that doesn't need to fight for but still thankful I am for her unwavering support for me and also thankful I am for those sponsors of my envelope for the fund raising which I was in the 8th runner up which is not so bad at all..

and to my handsome partner, even though he's a kind of a shy type person but still I'm proud for him cause he was able to break the challenge to face many different people that surrounds him

also for this cute little guy, that I've met just because of the reason on our daily practice in our walk and dance presentation actually he's a friend of Gerry and they're just neighbors, I'm glad I've met him cause he was totally a joker and he always make me laugh whenever our path crossed blessed and thankful I am to have him in my love bank char hahaha just a friend of mine no malisya at all.

and no other than my GCBC family and my dear ate Jean, they just really set aside their works, errands just to support me during the pageant competition, it was really my first time and I'm glad that even that moment I feel I was loved so much by my spiritual family and above anything else our Almighty God, I can't explain how happy I am for their valuable support for me and for that thank you so much my dear family 💖

So here is my reward, best in gown competition, 500 pesos cash prize and being the 8th runner up

OVERCOMING MY FEAR
I'm really afraid of how may people will gonna judge me, why is that I am like that, the worst of all they've met and even in terms of money, there are many words that come to my mind but I'm glad I won, I put in my mind, experience is the best teacher and I'll accept it as a challenge and a stepping stone for me as I say goodbye to my high school journey,

Truly I am beyond grateful for all those people behind of my success without them I am nothing and above anything else our Almighty God, to God be the glory for everything.
