This year has been fabulous for those of us who follow Marvel Studios productions, from their releases on movie screens to the series that are reproduced from Disney's streaming service. On this occasion, I come to tell you my impressions about the last of these: Ms. Marvel, and Kamala Khan.
First of all, I emphasize that it is a series aimed especially at Marvel fans, perhaps not at a general audience. Let me explain. Kamala is - in the series and out of it - a first-level fan of the Avengers, so much so that the series begins with a kind of audiovisual resource that she creates about her favorite heroes to upload to a Youtube channel, which although it does not have many subscribers, it is noted that she carries it with passion.
Among these heroes highlights her admiration for Captain Marvel, especially for her way of facing and defeating Thanos, which although it was after his snap does not cease to amaze. So, in these brief words, you can notice why I say that it is a movie that can be enjoyed especially by those who follow the UCM productions, in fact, the rest of the series is full of references to everything that Marvel means to the protagonist, in fact from the beginning everything leads towards the celebration of an AvengersCon.
For this reason, someone who is going to watch a Marvel series or movie for the first time and chooses this one is going to feel very disoriented, he or she will need a Marvel fan by his or her side if he or she wants to enjoy it to the fullest. And here is the other side of the coin and the reason why I establish a close relationship between this series and Marvel fans, for whom this new production is great because you feel an identification with the main character - even though she is a 16-year-old teenager - and you can get to know Marvel characters in general in more depth because this girl is interested in everything - absolutely everything - about them, she is a geek in this sense.

En esta ocasión vengo a comentarles mis impresiones sobre la última de estas: Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan.
Primeramente, resalto que es una serie dirigida de manera especial a los fans de Marvel, quizá no para un público en general. Me explico. Kamala es - en la serie y fuera de ella - una admiradora de primer nivel de los Avengers, tanto así que la serie comienza con una especie de recurso audiovisual que ella crea sobre sus héroes favoritos para subir a un canal de Youtube, que aunque no tiene muchos subscriptores se nota que lo lleva con pasión.
Entre estos héroes resalta su admiración por la capitana Marvel, sobre todo, por su forma de enfrentar y vencer a Thanos, que aunque fue luego de su chasquido no deja de asombrar. Así pues, en estas breves palabras pueden notar porque digo que es una película que pueden disfrutar sobretodo los que seguimos las producciones del UCM, en efecto, el resto de la serie está llena de referencias a todo lo que significa Marvel para la protagonista, de hecho desde el principio todo conduce hacia la celebración de una AvengersCon.
Por esta razón, alguien que vaya a ver una serie o película de Marvel por primera vez y elija ésta se va a sentir muy desorientado, necesitará si o sí un fans de Marvel a su lado si quiere disfrutarla al máximo. Y he aquí la otra cara de la moneda y la razón por la cual establesco una estrecha relación entre esta serie y los fans de Marvel, para los cuáles esta nueva producción es estupenda ya que se siente una identificación con la personaje protagonista - aún cuando es una adolescente de 16 años - y se puede llegar al conocimiento de los personajes de Marvel en general con mayor profundidad, pues a esta muchacha le interesa todo - absolutamente todo - sobre ellos, es una geek en este sentido.

It is also a series that combines a lot with the world of teenagers since in addition to her home, it shows Kamala's development within her school, her best friends (Bruno and Nakia), how distracted she is, and especially that stage of personal development, where one feels that she is already growing up. Even Kamala's imaginative capacity is characteristic of these years of life, where it is crucial to decide about our future, what do we want to be?
Kamala es una adolescente perteneciente a la religión musulmana, su familia vive y practica sus creencias en medio de una ciudad de Estados Unidos, New Jersey, pero se mantienen firmes en la misma pero de diversa manera cada miembro de la misma, siendo su mamá la más estricta pero su papá un poco más flexible.
En todo caso, lo interesante aquí es resaltar la inclusión de cada vez más culturas dentro del UCM, esto le da mayor riqueza y bases a su futuro. De aquí en adelante, el UCM tiene bastante material, diverso y que puede entrener a diversos tipo de público. Concretamente esta serie puede encantar, entre otros, a un público que se sienta identificado con todos los cambios de la modernidad, pues se siente bastante los avances tecnológicos, en especial, los referentes a las redes sociales, hay una joven influencer y referencia a su preocupación por el número de seguidores, entre otras cosas referentes a este mundo.
También es una serie que compagina mucho con el mundo de los adolescentes, ya que además de su hogar, se muestra el desenvolvimiento de Kamala dentro de su colegio, sus mejores amigos (Bruno y Nakia), lo distraída que es y sobre todo esa etapa de desarrollo personal, donde uno va sintiendo que ya está creciendo. Incluso esa capacidad imaginativa de Kamala es característica de estos años de vida, donde es crucial decidir sobre nuestro futuro, ¿Qué queremos ser?

The only thing we are given is that it is related to a bracelet she put on, as that personal touch she wanted to give to her Captain Marvel costume, one that is also a family heirloom, since it belonged to her great-grandmother.
Nuestra protagonista tiene claro lo que quiere para sí, ella quiere ser una superheroina, ese es su sueño... Lo que ella no se imaginaba es que se iba a volver literalmente realidad. En este primer episodio, ella muestra su encanto por la capitana Marvel y se imagina cómo disfrazarse de la misma en la AvengersCon, qué variante de la misma representar y que a la vez le dé un toque personal.
De allí, su profunda tristeza al ver que sus padres no la dejaran asistir. Pero como para el que tiene sueños nada es imposible, ella se las ingenia, logra su cometido y - cosa que no esperaba - yendo a celebrar a personas con superpoderes termina experimentando que se les otorgaron unos.
Así, pues, el capítulo queda abierto para un desarrollo más amplio de este aspecto en el siguiente episodio. Lo único que se nos adelanta es que tiene relación con un brazalete que se puso, como ese toque personal que le quería dar a su traje de capitana Marvel, uno que además es una reliquia familiar, puesto que perteneció a su bisabuela.

Yo he disfrutado los films de Marvel durante años, el de End Game me pareció algo espectacular, y a la espera estoy de poder ver la segunda parte de Doctor Strange.
Sin embargo, cuando se trata de series, debo decir que Marvel no siempre mantiene la calidad. La serie de Hawkeye me pareció totalmente horrible, y la de Falcón y el Soldado de Invierno estuvo más o menos.
