Iglesia viva y activa: Una familia [esp] [eng]

Cuando oímos la palabra iglesia es común que nuestra mente se dirija al espacio físico, al lugar donde un grupo de personas se congrega para realizar sus actos de culto, ahora bien nada más alejado de la realidad, ya que hablando del lado de la religión cristiana católica, cuando nos referimos a la iglesia en realidad estamos indicando a todos los hombres y mujeres que a lo largo de la historia han dado testimonio de esta fe.
Por esta razón, tenemos que hablar es de una iglesia viva, conformada por rostros concretos, de personas dispuestas a dar lo mejor de sí no solo dentro de los templos, sino también fuera de ellos. Por este mismo motivo, hablamos también de una iglesia activa, no pasiva, que espera que los demás hagan, sino una dispuesta a tener la iniciativa para servir a donde más sea necesario y a los que más lo necesitan.
Para que esta misión de la iglesia sea efectiva es también muy importante crear fraternidad entre los miembros de la comunidad, porque al final somos una familia donde no nos reúnen los lazos de la sangre sino unos más profundos, los de la fe.
En este sentido, les quiero dejar algunas fotos de algunos de los grupos que hacen vida en la parroquia donde sirvo, son recientes, en unas están sirviendo en el comedor parroquial, cantando cumpleaños a los niños cumpleañeros del mes, pero en otras están reunidos formándose, ya que también hay que capacitarse porque como decía alguien "El bien hay que hacerlo bien"; de la misma manera también les dejo unas de un compartir que tuvimos en una piscina hace un par de semanas, para empezar el año con energía.

When we hear the word church it is common that our mind goes to the physical space, to the place where a group of people congregates to perform their acts of worship, but nothing could be further from reality, since speaking from the side of the Catholic Christian religion, when we refer to the church we are actually indicating all men and women who throughout history have given testimony of this faith.
For this reason, we have to speak of a living church, made up of concrete faces, of people willing to give their best not only inside the temples but also outside them. For this same reason, we also speak of an active church, not passive, waiting for others to do, but one that is willing to take the initiative to serve where it is most needed and those who need it most.
For this mission of the church to be effective it is also very important to create fraternity among the members of the community because in the end, we are a family where we are not united by blood ties but by deeper ones, those of faith.
In this sense, I want to leave you some pictures of some of the groups that make life in the parish where I serve, they are recent, in some they are serving in the parish dining room, singing birthdays to the birthday children of the month, but in others they are gathered together in formation, because we also have to train because as someone said "The good must be done well"; in the same way I also leave you some of a sharing we had in a pool a couple of weeks ago, to start the year with energy.
