INTRODUCE MYSELF/ MI PRESENTACIÓN
I have three beautiful and healthy cats: Azula and Salem who are siblings, both are seven months old, Catalina the mom of the two kittens, she is one year and six months old. We found Catalina in the middle of the street wet and cold, she was two months old, after having her a few weeks in adoption and seeing that no one was interested in having her I made the decision to adopt her, today she is a beautiful, big and healthy cat.
Hola un gran y afectuoso saludo, soy Jesús Betancourt, tengo 26 años, vivo en Venezuela, soy diseñador y asistente veterinario.
Tengo tres hermosos y sanos gatos: Azula y Salem que son hermanos, ambos tienen siete meses, Catalina la mamá de los dos cachorros, ella tiene un año y seis meses. A Catalina la encontramos en mitad de la calle mojada y con frío, le calculamos dos meses de nacida, luego de tenerla algunas semanas en adopción y viendo que nadie se interesaba en tenerla tome la decisión de adoptarla, hoy en día es una gata bella, grande y saludable.
I finished my technical career in design in 2021 and started working for a textile company. After 6 months I decided to leave my job because I didn't feel comfortable or fulfilled as a person.
After a few difficult weeks of self-analysis, I began to realize that I was very interested in medicine and veterinary sciences. That's how I decided to enroll in a veterinary assistant course, I spent 3 months studying and got my certificate.
Terminé mi carrera técnica en diseño en 2021 y empecé a trabajar para una empresa textil. A los 6 meses decidí salir de mi trabajo debido a que no me sentía cómodo ni me llenaba como persona.
Luego de unas semanas difíciles y de autoanálisis, empecé a darme cuenta que tenía mucho interés en la medicina y ciencias veterinarias. Fue así como decidí inscribirme en un curso de auxiliar veterinario, dure 3 meses estudiando y obtuve mi certificado.
Soon after I started working in one of the best veterinary centers and with the best veterinary surgeon in the state where I live, gaining a lot of experience in the practical and theoretical area. Among the areas where I work are the support in consultations, surgeries, laboratory and hospitalization, being these last two where I feel more comfortable.
In my work there are several things that I love, among them to see how patients are evolving satisfactorily, to educate the pet guardians so that they have an excellent, long and healthy life. Seeing how the pets come back to us safe and sound is a satisfaction that I cannot express and to see how grateful some of them can be, giving more weight to my belief that animals have a noble soul.
Al poco tiempo comencé a trabajar en uno de los mejores centros veterinarios y con la mejor médico cirujano veterinario del estado donde vivo, obteniendo así mucha experiencia en el área práctica y teórica. Entre las áreas en donde trabajo están el apoyo en consultas, cirugías, laboratorio y hospitalización, siendo estas dos últimas en donde me siento más cómodo.
En mi trabajo hay varias cosas que me encantan, entre ellas ver como los pacientes van evolucionando satisfactoriamente, poder educar a los tutores de las mascotas para que tengan una excelente, larga y saludable vida. Ver como las mascotas regresan con nosotros sanos y salvos es una satisfacción que no puedo expresar y ver lo agradecido que pueden llegar a ser algunos, dando así más peso a mi creencia de que los animales tienen un alma noble.
My new project is to be a disseminator of health and good animal care, providing pet owners with practical and easy to understand knowledge and publications that help to raise awareness about endangered and threatened animals.
Mi proyecto nuevo es ser un divulgador de la salud y del buen cuidado animal, aportándole a los dueños de mascotas conocimientos prácticos y fáciles de entender; así realizar publicaciones que ayuden a tomar conciencia sobre los animales en peligro y amenaza de extinción.
Now my goal is to study medicine, some people tell me that I am too old to study a career of 5 or 6 years, to look for something shorter, but I believe that for knowledge and learning there is no age.
I expect a lot of support from you to make this new project grow, which I am starting with great pleasure and hope.
Ahora mi meta es estudiar medicina, algunas personas me dicen que ya tengo mucha edad para estudiar una carrera de 5 ó 6 años, que busque algo más corto, pero yo creo que para el conocimiento y para aprender no hay edad.
Espero mucho apoyo de ustedes para hacer crecer este nuevo proyecto, que con mucho gusto y esperanza estoy comenzando.
