A magical walk to the national park "Chorro El Indio" (English/Spanish)

A loving greeting to all my Hive friends, especially to those who every Wednesday gather in this beautiful space to share their experiences. Yesterday I had the fortune to share with my dear @aly.squid a beautiful ride, so I will share it with you and I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I did.

In the city of San Cristobal, Tachira state, is one of the national parks of Venezuela. Its beauty is incomparable and extends over 17,000 hectares. It has a wide vegetation between forest and cloud forest and its temperature can reach up to 10 °C (50 °F). This place is one of the most beloved places of the city dwellers, because it is a beautiful green lung that surrounds the city with its cloudy mountains, even on the hottest days.

As I grew up in the city of San Cristobal, I have visited this park many times. However, I had never done it on a motorcycle, so my dear Aly and I ventured out and did this beautiful ride through the mountains. From the entrance we enjoyed the many species of birds that wandered among the trees and gave us their curious and charming songs. The day was cold and cloudy, but that didn't stop us.

At the entrance we were greeted by a beautiful children's boulevard, with beautiful statues of cartoon characters. Among them "Yogi Bear" "The Flintstones" "Le Petit Prince". We stopped and took some pictures with these funny characters and continued on our way.

For almost 30 minutes driving along the road we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the freshness of the mountains. We came across a herd of cows and enjoyed the beautiful traditional facades along the roadside in some of its sections.

When we finally reached the waterfall we parked and walked a stretch between the rocks. We couldn't go up because we didn't have the right clothes and shoes. But we still enjoyed the paisa and the magical scene of the water falling from the mountain, which from below gives the impression of moving in slow motion.

We stayed there until we got cold and got ready to go down. The sky was starting to cloud over and it looked like it was going to rain. So we started to return. The rain surprised us as we were leaving the park, it was not long but the drops were big and cold. To warm up we finished the ride having dinner at one of our favorite Chinese food restaurants: The Nan King.

We've had several rides lately, but this was one of my favorites. Maybe because it brought back many beautiful memories, maybe because Aly and I were alone and that made it more intimate and special. Or simply because of the magic and peace of nature, what I am sure of is that I enjoyed it to the fullest and I hope to return soon to this beautiful place.

Un mágico paseo al parque nacionales "Chorro El Indio" (Ingles/Español)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente a quienes cada miércoles se reúnen en este hermoso espacio para compartir sus experiencias. El día de ayer tuve la fortuna de compartir con mi querida @aly.squid un hermoso paseo, así que lo compartiré con ustedes y estoy segura de que lo disfrutaran tanto como yo.

En la ciudad de San Cristóbal, estado Táchira, se encuentra uno de los parques nacionales de Venezuela. Su belleza es incomparable y se extiende a los largo de 17.000 hectáreas. Tiene una amplia vegetación entre bosque y selva nublada y su temperatura puede llegar hasta los 10 °C. Este lugar es uno de los lugares más querido de los citadinos, porque es un hermoso pulmón vegetal que arropa a la ciudad con sus montañas nubladas, incluso en los días más calurosos.

Como yo me crie en la ciudad de San Cristóbal, he visitado muchas veces este parque. Sin embargo nunca lo había hecho en moto, así que mi querida Aly y yo nos aventuramos y realizamos en moto este hermoso recorrido entre montañas. Desde la entrada disfrutamos de muchas especies de aves que se paseaban entre los árboles y nos regalaban sus curiosos y encantadores cantos. El día estaba frio y nublado, eso no nos detuvo.

En la entrada nos recibió un hermoso bulevar infantil, con hermosas estatuas de personajes de caricaturas. Entre ellas “Yogi Bear” “The Flintstones” “Le Petit Prince”. Nos detuvimos y nos hicimos algunas fotos con estos divertidos personajes y seguimos nuestro camino.

Durante casi 30 minutos rodando por la carretera disfrutamos del hermoso paisaje y la frescura de las montañas. Nos encontramos con un rebaño de vacas y disfrutamos de las hermosas fachadas tradicionales que se encuentran al borde de la carretera en algunos de sus tramos.

Cuando por fin llegamos a la cascada nos estacionamos y caminado un tramo entre las piedras. No pudimos subir porque no llevábamos la ropa ni los zapatos adecuados. Pero igualmente disfrutamos del paisa y de la mágica escena del agua cayendo desde la montaña, que desde abajo da la impresión de moverse en cámara lenta.

Estuvimos allí hasta que nos dio frio y nos dispusimos a bajar. El cielo comenzaba a nublarse y parecía que iba a llover. Así que comenzamos a retornar. La lluvia nos sorprendió cuando íbamos saliendo del parque, no fue mucho tiempo pero las gotas eran grandes y frías. Para entrar en calor terminamos el paseo cenando en uno de nuestros restaurantes de comida china favoritos: El Nan King.

Últimamente hemos tenido varios paseos, pero este fue uno de mis favoritos. Tal vez porque me trajo muchos hermosos recuerdos, también porque íbamos Aly y yo solas y eso lo hizo más íntimo y especial. O simplemente es la magia y la paz de la naturaleza, de lo que estoy segura es que lo disfrute al máximo y que espero regresar pronto a este bello lugar.
