Hive Open Mic SEMANA 156 / Como yo te amo / Cover @jetta.amaya (Español/Ingles)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, es todo un placer estar otra vez compartiendo en la gran tarima de Open Mic. Esta vez el tema de la semana es “Hasta El Extremo” y eso me emociono mucho, así que les traje una canción que definitivamente me ha llevado a los extremos en todos los sentidos. Se trata de “Como yo te amo” compuesta por el español Manuel Alejandro en 1979. Esta bellísima canción fue compuesta inicialmente para la cantante Rocío Jurado, pero a los largo de su historia ha ido versionada por muchos intérpretes, entre ellos la grandísima Gloria Trevi, sin duda esta última es mi favorita.

Siempre he pensado que Trevi es una mujer extraordinaria, no solo por ser todo un personaje, cosa que le da mucho valor artístico, también por su increíble voz. Nunca me había atrevido a cantar una canción de Gloria Trevi, pero como el tema de la semana me exige ir al extremo, entonces lo acepto y me animo. Confieso que estaba bastante nerviosa cuando grabe, así que tal vez lo noten, pero en realidad estoy muy feliz por esta nueva experiencia.

Otra de las razones por las que escogí esta canción para esta semana, es porque describe un amor enorme, infinito y si es cuestión de hablar de extremos creo que esta canción lo describe muy bien. Yo se la dedique hace muchos años a mi querida @aly.squid y sé que ella la atesora mucho, tanto como yo. Espero que les guste mi interpretación que como siempre traigo con mucho amor y muchas ganas. Tras cámara me acompaña Aly con su guitarra. Me despido hasta la próxima.

Love greetings to all my Hive friends, it's such a pleasure to be once again sharing on the big stage of Open Mic. This time the theme of the week is "Hasta El Extremo" and that got me very excited, so I brought you a song that has definitely taken me to extremes in every way. It is "Como yo te amo" composed by the Spaniard Manuel Alejandro in 1979. This beautiful song was initially composed for the singer Rocio Jurado, but throughout its history it has been covered by many performers, including the great Gloria Trevi, the latter is undoubtedly my favorite.

I have always thought that Trevi is an extraordinary woman, not only for being a character, which gives her a lot of artistic value, but also for her incredible voice. I had never dared to sing a Gloria Trevi song, but since the theme of the week requires me to go to the extreme, then I accept it and I dare to do it. I confess I was quite nervous when I recorded, so you may notice it, but I'm actually very happy for this new experience.

Another reason why I chose this song for this week, is because it describes a huge, infinite love and if it's a matter of talking about extremes I think this song describes it very well. I dedicated it many years ago to my dear @aly.squid and I know she treasures it as much as I do. I hope you like my interpretation that as always I bring with a lot of love and desire.
