Lo cambiaría casi todo // Si yo hubiera sabido/ Iniciativa 16/ Esa Vida Nuestra (Español/Ingles)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, me da mucho gusto estar una vez más en la comunidad de Holos&Lotus participando en Si yo hubiera sabido/ Iniciativa 16/ Esa Vida Nuestra un espacio diseñado por la bellísima @charjaim. Leer esta propuesta me hizo pensar en una frase de la película “Next” protagonizada por Nicolas Cage y que básicamente se trata de que el personaje principal tiene la capacidad de ver todo lo que va a pasar unos minutos antes de que ocurra. La frase reza así: “Lo curioso del futuro es que cuando lo ves cambia, porque lo viste”.

Creo que efectivamente si tuviésemos la capacidad de saber lo que va a ocurrir antes de que sucediera lo cambiaríamos, por lo menos la mayoría de las veces. Siempre queremos lo mejor, lo ideal, incluso cuando las cosas son buenas, si pudiéramos hacer que fuesen mejor lo haríamos. Yo tengo una larga lista de: ¡Si yo hubiera sabido¡

• Si yo hubiera sabido que no volvería a verlas, habría abrazado más fuerte a mis amigas que se fueron del país.

• Si yo hubiera sabido que estar allí me haría tanto daño, habría corrido lejos de mi casa materna desde muy joven.

• Si yo hubiera sabido que llegaría al punto de no tener dinero para un pasaje interurbano, habría viajado más cuando tuve la oportunidad.

Si yo hubiera sabido que… Son tantas las cosas que habría cambiado. Al diablo los aprendizajes, no tiene que doler tanto ser feliz, no tiene que costarnos la vida entera, mil tropiezos, mil heridas. Yo cambiaria todo el dolor que he sufrido y todas las caídas de las que, por deber, me he levantado. Cambiaria todo por una vida plena y tranquila. Desprecio profundamente la cultura del sacrificio, si lo hubiera sabido habría vivido mi juventud con más placer y menos para complacer.

Claro que es importante la información, tenerla, entenderla, analizarla y aprender de experiencias previas, propias y ajenas; de nuestro contexto social e histórico. No podemos ver nuestro futuro, pero podemos saber indicadores de violencia, podemos saber cuáles son las herramientas de gestión emocional, podemos saber la importancia de la independencia económica y emocional, podemos saber cómo administrar mejor nuestro dinero y saber invertir en nuestro futuro. Hay tantas cosas que podemos saber para hacer nuestro presente y nuestro futuro más feliz y pleno.

Podemos saber hablar y contar lo que nos ha pasado, sin romantizar el dolor y los obstáculos, para que las nuevas generaciones no tengan que vivir las mismas dolencias, para que se ahorren los sacrificios. Creo que es posible saber, no lo que va a pasar, pero si saber cómo hacerlo mejor antes de que las cosas se nos estrellen en la cara. Si yo hubiera sabido lo habría agradecido mucho.

Sé que no sueno tan optimista como suelo ser, pero lo cierto es que si hay muchas cosas positivas, creo que es posible un mundo mejor, donde la vida pueda darse sin tanto esfuerzo, sin tanta terapia. Una vida basada en los valores, en el amor, donde no tengamos que cuidarnos del que tenemos junto a nosotros, donde los seres humanos no tengamos una predisposición a que nos van hacer daños. Porque a fin de cuentas todo lo que me ha pasado a mí, lo que me ha dolido y que sin duda cambiaria, seguro que le ha pasado a miles de mujeres y hombres, entonces ¿por qué no cambiar la raíz del problema? Nos queda mucho trabajo por hacer como sociedad.

Esta es mi participación para esta bella iniciativa. No lo voy a negar, pensar en esto me ha estremecido y me ha pinchado algunos puntos sensibles, pero son momentos necesarios. Agradezco a @charjaim por el hermosos espacio y por esa bellísima canción que me ha hecho llorar, siempre he pensado que el mejor regalo que puede darse es una canción. A loving greeting to all my Hive friends, it gives me great pleasure to be once again in the Holos&Lotus community participating in Si yo hubiera sabido/ Iniciativa 16/ Esa Vida Nuestra a space designed by the beautiful @charjaim. Reading this proposal made me think of a phrase from the movie "Next" starring Nicolas Cage and which basically is about the main character having the ability to see everything that is going to happen a few minutes before it happens. The phrase goes like this: "The funny thing about the future is that when you see it, it changes, because you saw it".

I believe that indeed if we had the ability to know what is going to happen before it happens we would change it, at least most of the time. We always want the best, the ideal, even when things are good, if we could make them better we would. I have a long list of: If I had known!

• If I had known that I would never see them again, I would have hugged my friends who left the country tighter.

• If I had known that being there would hurt me so much, I would have run away from my mother's house at a very young age.

• If I had known that I would get to the point of not having money for an intercity ticket, I would have traveled more when I had the chance.

If I had known... There are so many things I would have changed. To hell with the learnings, it doesn't have to hurt so much to be happy, it doesn't have to cost us our whole lives, a thousand stumbles, a thousand hurts.I would change all the pain I have suffered and all the falls from which, out of duty, I have gotten up.I would trade it all for a full and peaceful life. I deeply despise the culture of sacrifice, if I had known I would have lived my youth with more pleasure and less to please.

Of course it is important to have information, to have it, to understand it, to analyze it and to learn from previous experiences, our own and others; from our social and historical context.We cannot see our future, but we can know indicators of violence, we can know which are the tools of emotional management, we can know the importance of economic and emotional independence, we can know how to better manage our money and know how to invest in our future. There are so many things we can know to make our present and our future happier and fuller.

We can know how to talk and tell what has happened to us, without romanticizing the pain and the obstacles, so that the new generations do not have to live through the same ailments, so that they are spared the sacrifices. I believe it is possible to know, not what is going to happen, but to know how to do better before things crash in our faces. If I had known I would have been very grateful.

I know I don't sound as optimistic as I usually am, but the truth is that there are many positive things, I believe that a better world is possible, where life can happen without so much effort, without so much therapy. A life based on values, on love, where we do not have to take care of the one we have next to us, where human beings do not have a predisposition to do us harm. Because at the end of the day, everything that has happened to me, what has hurt me and that I would undoubtedly change, has surely happened to thousands of women and men, so why not change the root of the problem? We still have a lot of work to do as a society.

This is my participation in this beautiful initiative. I won't deny it, thinking about this has shaken me and pricked some sensitive spots, but these are necessary moments. I thank @charjaim for the beautiful space and for that beautiful song that made me cry, I have always thought that the best gift that can be given is a song.
