LOH Contest #106 // Juntas e infinitas (Español/Ingles)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, estoy muy complacida de asistir a la gran fiesta de las damas de Hive. Hacía tiempo que no publicaba por acá y me entusiasma mucho poder hacerlo en este contexto, pues no hay nada más hermoso que una fiesta entre mujeres. Me encanta compartir con mis amigas y por lo general hacemos reuniones muy amenas, en lo personal me gusta ser la anfitriona porque soy muy cuidadosa con los detalles.

Les contare como ocurre en mi mente este bello compartir, conforme les vaya contando iré respondiendo las grandiosas preguntas del concurso #106.

Cierro los ojos y nos imaginó a todas con los pies llenos de arena y la brisa del mar acariciando nuestros cuerpos. En el fondo escucho una banda de jazz y las risas escandalosas de algunas damas. En un rincón las intelectuales están sentadas hablando de filosofía y política, mientras que las enérgicas se desarman bailando frente a la tarima; al otro extremo unas cuentas inventan juegos de safios y penitencias, tal vez ya están un poco pasada de tragos, pero disfruto tanto verlas reír.

Parecemos niñas y al mismo tiempo nuestra madurez y experiencia se desborda cuando hablamos y nos movemos. La noche empieza a caer y alguien enciende las antorchas y las fogatas, somos un montón de siluetas negras agitándose sensualmente sobre la arena. Camino entre mis hermanas de Hive con mi disfraz de catrina, es una de mis representaciones favoritas, guarda tanta riqueza cultural y tantos significados que siempre que puedo me visto de parca, sobre todo para Halloween, ya que son muy pocas las personas que no se atemorizan ante la muerte, yo no conozco ninguna.

Traje para compartir una sencilla, pero poderosamente deliciosa botana, algunos de mis dip especiales, una es de berenjena ahumada, la otra de pimentón y la última de garbanzo; acompañadas por unas ricas tostadas integrales. Me encantan los sabores árabes e hindúes, estas salsas acompañan en occidente el Falafel, pero yo he comprobado que son perfectas para dipiar. Las chicas están disfrutando de mi botana, no saben cuál de las tres elegir porque cada una les resulta muy deliciosa.

Está empezando a abrazarnos una briza fría y nos reunimos todas junto a la fogata para abrigarnos. A mi lado está mi compañera de vida, me sonríe sosteniendo su guitarra, un poco nerviosa como siempre que va a tocar en público. Empieza a sonar el arpegio y comienzo la actividad que traje para mis queridas amigas. Una visualización guiada, todas respiramos armoniosamente, nuestros corazones se sincronizan, somos una sola, algunas lloran de calma otras nos sumergimos en la visualización, estamos lejos y al mismo tiempo estamos allí compartiendo una fantasía paradisiaca entre grandes mujeres.

LOH Contest #106 // Together and infinite (Spanish/English)

A loving greeting to all my Hive friends, I am very pleased to attend the big party of the ladies of Hive. It's been a while since I've posted here and I'm very excited to do it in this context, because there is nothing more beautiful than a party among women. I love to share with my friends and we usually make very nice meetings, personally I like to be the hostess because I am very careful with the details.

I will tell you how this beautiful sharing happens in my mind, as I tell you I will answer the great questions of contest #106.

I close my eyes and imagine us all with our feet full of sand and the sea breeze caressing our bodies. In the background I hear a jazz band and the uproarious laughter of some ladies. In one corner the intellectuals are sitting talking about philosophy and politics, while the energetic ones are disarmed dancing in front of the stage; at the other end some beads are inventing games of safes and penances, maybe they are a little too drunk, but I enjoy watching them laugh so much.

We look like little girls and at the same time our maturity and experience overflows when we talk and move. Night begins to fall and someone lights the torches and campfires, we are a bunch of black silhouettes waving sensually on the sand. I walk among my Hive sisters in my catrina costume, it is one of my favorite representations, it holds so much cultural richness and so many meanings that whenever I can I dress up as a grim reaper, especially for Halloween, since there are very few people who are not terrified of death, I don't know any.

I brought to share a simple, but powerfully delicious snack, some of my special dip, one is smoked eggplant, the other paprika and the last chickpea; accompanied by some rich whole wheat toast. I love Arabic and Indian flavors, these sauces go with Falafel in the West, but I have found them to be perfect for dipping. The girls are enjoying my snack, they don't know which of the three to choose because each one is so delicious.

A cold breeze is starting to embrace us and we all gather around the campfire to wrap up warm. Next to me is my life partner, she smiles at me holding her guitar, a little nervous as always when she is going to play in public. The arpeggio starts to play and I begin the activity I brought for my dear friends. A guided visualization, we all breathe harmoniously, our hearts are synchronized, we are one, some cry for calm, others submerge in the visualization, we are far away and at the same time we are there sharing a paradisiacal fantasy among great women.
