Missing our Princess for this Trip

This is our first travel together without our little princess. We had a last-minute decision not to bring her because of the long travel time. We were worried that she might get sick in the van. Also, we’re not traveling for vacation but rather we’re going to a friend’s wedding because we were the Secondary sponsor in charge of the veil. It’s a church wedding but the reception was held in a garden. The couple was blessed with very nice weather. We enjoyed the celebration because we had the chance to bond with our other friends who also traveled just like us from other provinces in the Philippines.
Overall, because we were so missing our daughter, my husband and I did not fully enjoy it. We both decided that this would be the first and only vacation we take without her because it is our first long journey apart.
