Gathering with old friends from high school feels like finding a missing puzzle piece. This reunion has been long overdue. Despite our best intentions, life kept us busy with work and our little business, leaving little room for leisurely meetups. Finally, we met up at Kaya Restaurant, eager to catch up after what felt like forever. The cozy atmosphere and dim lights made us feel at home.
We started by sharing laughs about what happened to us in the previous month. My friend was promoted to branch manager at the bank she works for, another friend just returned from her trip to Thailand, and yet another friend talked about her newly built rest house in the province. There were so many things we discussed while looking through the menu. The food was delicious, and we couldn't stop talking between bites. We reminisced about our plans to travel together again, recalling the fun we had on our last trip back in 2019.

As the night went on, our conversation deepened. We talked about our jobs, relationships, and what we've been up to since we last saw each other. It was heartwarming to hear how everyone was doing and to offer support when needed.

After dinner, we didn't want the night to end, so we headed to UCC for coffee. With warm cups in hand, we continued our conversations, sharing our goals for the future since we were not getting any younger. I told them that I was planning to resign from my job and work as a full-time mom when my little princess will be in grade school and they couldn’t believe it because they knew me too well that I’m a workaholic person but people change though.
Saying goodbye was difficult, but we promised to make more time for each other. As I left, I felt grateful for the chance to reconnect with old friends and for the memories we made together. Here's to many more reunions in the future!

That must have been really amazing. I have not set my eyes on many of my old school mates, funny enough some are even in the same city with me. I wish for such a reunion, but we have not really come together to ever plan such a thing

Just don't plan it at all because tendency it will not happen, so try random dates 😊
