As for the materials, there is no universal law that says that one material is better than the other, there are different varieties to choose from, for example, wood, aluminum, PVC, or steel, if, for example, the main entrance is exposed outdoors without any type of protection, perhaps it would not be a good option to opt for wood because wood requires practically continuous maintenance in that sense, for example, if you like the texture of the wood or the appearance of the wood a lot, aluminum or PVC give you the possibility of imitating the practically to the point of not recognizing if it is a natural wood or not and the most important of all this without any type of maintenance.
