Work in the middle of the complex.

Hello, my name is Jhonny and welcome to my blog, this time I want to show you a project proposal that costs a work that will serve as a food and cocktail service station in a tourist complex that has several attractions, the idea is to offer a point of relaxation between the route.

So you go down the road and suddenly you cross this work, as a kind of whereabouts, an area that is used for eating, for snacks in a large recreational field with various places to go.

What is sought is functionality, and in this way simplicity and simplicity are obtained, it will be built of concrete, of concrete with a pigment, it is a powder color that is added to the concrete which will give it this earthy color .

We will look for a texture made from strips of wood cutouts, the The cut will be 10 centimeters and these staves will be played with to give an irregular effect to the piece.

It will be sought that the design is governed by the bands or staves that are aligned and the modulation will give the height of the piece; in the back there will be two gargoyles to drain rainwater; these will make up two duels for their height and there will be other pieces in the same way.

The work will join the environment since the natural rocks around it are of a pinkish hue, hence the chosen tone of the work, the entire landscape has these reddish tones.

It is an attempt to search for a functional solution to satisfy the needs of people who require services, if not accompanied by art, as expressed by its form that is open towards the landscape that is to be shown and closed towards the road.

The piece rises from the ground

The result is that the piece lifts off the ground to show itself to the environment, here there are many decisions in the design, in fact the design is decisions and I believe that the more conscious these decisions are, the design will be much better.

I have heard my construction colleagues, the architects, speak of stereotomy architecture and tectonic architecture, the first is the architecture of the wall that is born from the earth while the second is the architecture of assembly, the union of parts that form the piece ; As you can see, this work is a mixture of those architectures; walls that arise from the earth, but also from rubbing and assembled pieces.

The piece gives the impression that the slab floats above but also the slab below floats.

Several structural calculations were required since the work would rest on sloping ground, and the piece rests exactly at the center of the piece, with large walls that serve as footings.

The work regulates its openings from the blind or covered rear face through the main entrance, which is semi-solid and opens completely to the surroundings.

The first movement is the entrance, the room opens to allow us to enter and at the same time the wall unfolds to frame that access.

It is a piece that closes, but at the same time invites you to enter, that perpendicular wall is detached from the slab one meter, and it can be seen in the geometry of the steps that it coincides perfectly with that wall looking for all the pieces to line up and the lines to match each part.

It has a central support (column) in the form of a cross, this allows it to not always be seen directly towards the service area and each other on each side.

On the left and front side, which is completely open, a very simple steel railing made of 3-inch sills will be placed.

It is a small area of 7 x 7 meters since it was decided to place the bathroom areas at a certain distance from the work to seek simplicity.

Well that's all, it's a request from my work group, I hope you appreciate it and I hope I heard the best reviews, bye.

Fantastic conceptual presentation for a small canteen or cafeteria! I admire how the exterior cladding and finishes blend with its natural environment, giving the impression of being part of the terrain.

May I know what software you've used to create these visual renderings?

Thank you, if those interested in the project especially liked me, I hope it prospers, there is no way to see what is imagined in real.

Of course, it's called SkethUp, there is an online version that is limited, as well as paid, it's a very powerful tool, I recommend it.

I am learning every day.

Cheers

Yes, it's always great to see a project materialized in the real world. SketchUp is a favorite rendering tool for Architects and Designers due to its user-friendly capabilities. It's also a fun app and I hope you get to do more advanced features with it. Have a nice one! 😊
