Amigurumi: I show you how to knit a bear

Este ha sido un proyecto muy especial. Un día mi hermana me pregunta que si puedo hacer una jirafa y una osita. Resulta que mi hermana deseaba regalar unos amigurrumis a unas amiguitas que tiene en Chile, mi hermana quería que el regalo fuese diferente a lo que habitualmente reciben los niños.

Como se trata de regalar a niños y amo hacer amigurrumis, mi respuesta inmediata fue un contundente, sí.

Hoy les comparto mi experiencia tejiendo la osita, esta osita es muy tierna y además luce muy ataviada.

This has been a very special project. One day my sister asks me if I can make a giraffe and a bear. It turns out that my sister wanted to give some amigurumis to some friends she has in Chile, my sister wanted the gift to be different from what children usually receive.

Since it's about giving to children and I love making amigurumis, my immediate response was a resounding, yes.

Today I share with you my experience knitting the bear, this bear is very cute and also looks very dressed up.

Usé para tejer el cuerpo de la osita hilo de algodón, como muchos de ustedes saben, me encanta tejer en hilo de algodón, especialmente los amigurrumis. Este hilo fue un regalo de una gran amiga y estaba esperando una buena ocasión para usarlo, y la ocasión llegó.

Comencé tejiendo la cabeza de la osita.

I used cotton yarn to knit the body of the bear, as many of you know, I love knitting with cotton yarn, especially amigurumis. This thread was a gift from a great friend and she was waiting for a good occasion to use it, and the occasion came.

I started by knitting the bear's head.

Llegado el momento, usé alfileres para ubicar en donde deseaba colocar los ojitos de seguridad, me gusta asegurarme que los ojitos sean ubicados donde deban quedar, de tal manera no estropear el tejido si lo hago directamente con los ojitos de seguridad y no los ubico bien.

When the time came, I used pins to locate where I wanted to place the safety eyes. I like to make sure that the eyes are placed where they should be, so as not to damage the fabric if I do it directly with the safety eyes and I don't place them correctly. .

Llegó el momento de bordar el hocico, amo bordar, y para ello he sacado mis cajas de hilos de bordar. Mes fascina poder pasearme entre un universo de colores y poder seleccionar entre ello el más apropiado.

The time has come to embroider the snout, I love embroidering, and for this I have taken out my boxes of embroidery threads. It fascinates me to be able to walk through a universe of colors and to be able to select the most appropriate one.

Aproveché también de bordar las cejas y delinear los ojitos, aquí ya había empezado a enamorarme de lo que estaba creando, me encanta esa sensación de disfrute de ver cómo se va construyendo el cuerpito de la osita con cada uno de sus detalles.

I also took advantage of embroidering the eyebrows and outlining the eyes, here I had already begun to fall in love with what I was creating, I love that feeling of enjoyment of seeing how the little bear's body is being built with each of its details.

Nuevamente he utilizado mis poderosos alfileres para fijar en donde deseo se visualice el hocico. Aquí realicé varios ensayos hasta que finalmente lo logré ubicar.

Again I have used my powerful pins to fix where I want the snout to be displayed. Here I carried out several trials until I finally managed to locate it.

Seguidamente con una aguja e hilo he fijado cuidadosamente el hocico a la cabeza.

Next, with a needle and thread I carefully attached the snout to the head.

Usando el hilo mismo hilo con el cual tejí la cabeza he dado inicio a tejer el cuerpo, el cuerpo lo comencé por las patas. Como me estaba quedando poco hilo he intercalado con otro color, de manera tal me alcance el hilo para tejer los bracitos de la osita.

Using the same thread with which I knitted the head, I started knitting the body, I started the body with the legs. Since I was running out of yarn, I interspersed it with another color, so that I would have enough yarn to knit the little bear's arms.

Una vez completado el cuerpo lo he unido a la cabeza. Y también he colocado las orejitas.

Once the body was completed I attached it to the head. And I have also placed the ears.

Una de mis partes favoritas de este proyecto, fue hacer el traje, sin patrón alguno, solo lo que mi mente iba cantando. Tejía e iba midiendo.

One of my favorite parts of this project was making the suit, without any pattern, just what my mind was singing. I knitted and measured.

Así va luciendo, fue un vestido que avanzó muy rápido para no tener un patrón, no tuve que desbaratar, lo cual fue absolutamente maravilloso.

This is how it looks, it was a dress that moved very quickly to not have a pattern, I didn't have to take apart, which was absolutely wonderful.

Luego le coloqué unos botones perlados, dudé un poco en colocarlos, pienso que fui algo atrevida, más luego pienso que fue una buena decisión.

Then I added some pearl buttons, I hesitated a little to put them on, I think I was a little daring, but later I think it was a good decision.

Como pueden ver en la imagen a continuación, la osita luce muy elegante y tierna. Toda coqueta.

As you can see in the image below, the bear looks very elegant and cute. All flirtatious.

Y para completar el hermoso atuendo, tejí un precioso bolsito en colores vibrantes, les comento, este bolsito es lo que más ha gustado de este proyecto.

Como también saben, soy amante de los botones, y me conseguí este de corazones entre los muchos botones que tengo, botón que hace juego perfecto con el bolso y el vestido.

Por cierto, todos los botones de esta creación han sido bien asegurados, ya que este amigurrumi será manipulado por niños.

And to complete the beautiful outfit, I knitted a beautiful bag in vibrant colors, I tell you, this bag is what I liked the most about this project.

As you also know, I am a button lover, and I got this one with hearts among the many buttons I have, a button that matches the bag and the dress perfectly.

By the way, all the buttons on this creation have been well secured, since this amigurumi will be handled by children.

Y finalmente he tejido tres florecitas y las he colocado en la cabecita, es que cuando las coloqué me enternecí tanto. Solo el arte puede ofrecer tanto deleite.

And finally I wove three little flowers and placed them on the head, when I placed them I was so touched. Only art can offer so much delight.

Al terminar la osita se la he entregado a mi hermana y ella se las ingenió para hacer llegar desde Venezuela a Chile la osita amigurrumis a su dueña.

When I finished the bear, I gave it to my sister and she managed to get the amigurumi bear from Venezuela to Chile to its owner.
