Inktober Day 16: Angel

Hello! 👼

How is everyone? 🤩

For this blog, my chosen prompt for Inktober is "angel". While I am scrolling for a reference, I've seen a lot of nice ideas. Apparently, there are a lot of types of angels. 😆 Also, angel is not just the "holy" ones, but there are some on the dark side too. 😁

This is just a simple sketch of an angel. ☺️ Originally, I like her with a long hair, hehe. Last minute, I changed it to short hair. She looks like Card Captor Sakura, tho. 😁

I applied dull shades for the base colors. I chose yellow for the wings and blue for the hair. On top of the base colors, I applied the shadowings. Using the Alpha lock, I drew lines using a chalk brush.

Final Art

Lastly, I chose a bright yellow for the background. Added another shade of yellow for contrast.
