I just want to share that today is The Day of Valor or in Filipino, Araw ng Kagitingan. This day, we commemorate courageous Filipinos and Americans who fought during the fall of Bataan.

Speaking of valorance, this art is fitting for today.
The card that I chose is Chain Spinner. Maybe he is a soldier too. 😁
Art Process
A rough sketch of the armor. Not a fan of armor and mecha but trying to incorporate it on my art routine to get familliarize, hehe. I just drew a three quarter portrait. Next, Doing the lineart for this one is fast but the rendering will take time later.
I applied the base colors in separate layers. The shade of the red is like a maroon-ish. Next, I chose a dark background to make the red pop. I then started doing the shadows, especially on the edges.
Since it is dark, I want to make highlights and glows not to make the art flat and dark. I used a flat brush,smudge brush, and blur brush to achieve the shines.
Final Art
Those chains were a brush in the default set on the brushes of CSP. I chose a combination of gold yellow and unsaturated yellow to get the chain color I wanted. I blur the chains on both arms since it is closer to the front. Lastly, I added some details and noise filter.
