Finally an entry before the deadline. 😆 I used to post early, haha. Kind of busy in life, but more like playing because of @takuri (Who always dies in the game). 🥲😆 Can't help but play all night because the game is oh-so-good! I made a blog about it too!

Chibi madness! 😆 I can say that I improved a lot on using this chibi 3D model. I used to fix the position for an average of 10 minutes. Now I can do it in half of my average time. When we use something repetitively, our brain just knows how it works eventually. Amazing, huh? 😄 Originally, I positioned the arm in a different place but then I realized that it covers the outfit. I want to show more of it, so I just scratched that hand position. I sketched the hair, headgear, and body. I added a cloud to match the original card.

I mentioned before in previous blogs how I make the eyes. It is just a pile of layers. 😄 Since this is a chibi, eyes are bigger compared to other body types/structures. Also, I want the eyes to be vibrant and sparkly~ ✨ After making the eyes, I moved on to the base colors. I just copy the color close to the original card. I chose a muted pink for the background.

For the shading, I used a light-pressured airbrush first for the edges. For the details like the divisions of the hair, I used a medium to hard-pressure airbrush. This is the same as other details on the skin, headgear, clouds, and accessories. A little cyan blue for the eyeshadow and brown-orange for the cheeks. ✨

Final Art

I use the tool Text and chose a readable font. 🙂 I hardly use those cursive fonts (except for short words) because it is not that readable. So, I go for those bold and solid fonts. I created a purple shadow for the text for extra detail. I airbrushed a darker pink on the colored background just for contrast. For the last touch, I airbrush purple on the character. 🙂
