A Few More Days

We are about to turn in for the night and ready to get up real early in the morning to head out on our road trip to Georgia. We are staying at a resort out there, but the main reason for the trip is to elope and make our relationship official. We are scheduled to get hitched on Tuesday.

Tiffa and I have been together for a long time now and we have built a life along with her boys, so in essence we were married; but not officially. They say, that a piece of paper doesn't make a difference. I agreed with that for a long time, but honestly, after what Tiffany and I have gone through physically the last two years we need to be prepared for the worst; while still celebrating the best of who we are as a couple and a family.

The trip itself makes for a few firsts. The first time that Tiffany and I have gone to that part of Georgia, the first time the boys have gone to any mountain side locations and the first time the youngest has ever been outside of Florida.

The weather may be colder than the boys have ever experierenced as well.

I believe it won't be freezing cold, but cold enough for them to experience that level of cold for the first time.

Of course, being born and raised in New York myself and living in the Poconos for a short time along with visiting some other states during winter seasons there has been plenty of days I froze my ass lol. Tiffany being from Philadelphia and traveling for work has experienced some very cold days as well. Either way, I'm actually looking forward to that brrrr. It's actually been chilly the last few days here in Central Florida, so it has been nice. It doesn't happen often, so I truly enjoy those days.

I was looking for the perfect selfie to upload for this post and this is one of may favorites. We took this one in January 2021. That was at my cousin's wedding. We flew out to my beloved New York to attend that wedding and this was a few months before we got hit with COVID and when things became a rough road ahead for us with injuries and the car accident.

When the vows say, through sickness and in health, Tiffa and I have already had plenty of practice before the vows we will be exchanging on Tuesday.

Today, has been really busy putting the finishing touches to what we will need to take with us and making sure we are set up well for the drive and the stay.

With that said, my HIvE activity will be more of an On the Go and a Very Mobile Phone HIVE active. I've done it before, but this will be for a lengthier time. Thankfully, this blockchain has amazing dApps to make it all possible.

Nothing will stop the HIVE activity :-)
