I'm a simple guy, so some things may look much more grandiose to me than other people may view them. It is what it is and I'm not criticizing myself, it's just true. My fiancé chuckles when she sees me gasp when I see certain things like a beautiful tree, a plant, a bird or an awesome scenery that in essence is just basic when you live around it.

I've mentioned countless times, that growing up in the ghettos of Brooklyn to appreciate things like we see here in Florida or when I've traveled to other states that I'm always in awe of certain things.

I don't go overboard and want to go rock climbing or go snow boarding, but I do get jazzed up with visual impact of things that I hadn't appreciated when I was younger.

This past weekend's stroll in one of the more popular parks here in Central Florida, when you come upon it, is this spot where you can look out past the water and when it's a beautiful day, the sky is just badass.

Staring out into these landscapes is very soothing and I look forward to seeing this spot as soon as I get to visit Lake Baldwin Park.

Can't believe this was just this past Saturday and we are mid-week into the first few days of August 2022.

The next few days I get to take another step into my physical rehab and will go to a specialist for a consultation after putting in a few months with the chiropractor and also have to get some x-rays to see the progress of those appointments and hopefully it's all trending towards me being let free to go back to what I love doing with my workouts and running events.

I used my trusty iPhone10 XR to take the pictures I uploaded for this post. The second one wasn't as cool as the first one, but wanted to get another angle.

It sure is Katie.

Heading to a beach or park out here on a sunny day is guaranteed to produce some awesome photos.

Hope you had an amazing day!

Nothing wrong with enjoying the simple things in life, Jimmy. Skateboarding and rock climbing definitely wouldn't be good activity choices for me. Kind of accident prone. Seriously though, a nice walk like that is totally therapeutic and relaxing. Best of luck on your physical therapy.

I think finding the joy in the things that some people might think are simple does not make one simple at all! It means you are awesome!!

And I am so happy to hear that you are still hanging in there in positive attitude-land regarding your injury healing journey. I can't even imagine how hard this has been on you, not HIIT'n hard like you are used to, but if there's anything I have learned after reading your most excellent and authentic posts all these months, is that you will endure what's necessary and get back to crushing it as soon as you can.

Hope you all are having an awesome night!
