HIVE Ecosystem dAppin'

It's always important for me to preface that I am not an expert, but more of an enthusiast on the things I've been passionate with, like my workouts under the orange lights to my fascination with the HIVE blockchain.

I've been pretty open to social media on a personal level for many years and knew that it was here to stay. I mean, I'm in my fifties, but I have learned to be on board with a lot of modern progression.

During my first attempt at online marketing and at the tail end of it when I decided to step away from it the first time, there was already a sense of how it was going to be a positive impact for entrepreneurs.

Fast forward to today's environment and it has become a behemoth in terms of making many ordinary folks millionaires and toxic simultaneously.

The toxicity comes from the asshole who is miserable with their own lives and has to project that behind their keyboards up to the person who is a billionaire pissing away their fortune, because they can't enjoy their wealth in peace and shutting the fuck up.

But hey, it's social media.

So, as crypto continues to get a bad name and will keep folks from embracing it along with many who will be jumping ship, those who are seeing the big picture remain on solid ground.

It doesn't have to be HIVE in particular. I'm sure there are some other blockchains and projects that have folks behind it that are keeping their head down and just doing what they have to do to be part of something great.

BUT, I'm a HIVER and that's all that matters. Yes, I understand that many of the negative things that are happening in the crypto space is affecting HIVE to a certain extent, but are we panicking? Perhaps a few, in particular, those that are always worried about price.

Don't get me wrong, I get disillusioned at times, but only because I've lived long enough to know that greed destroys all that is good.

Thankfully, the HIVE blockchain is what I jokingly like to call my safe space.

I won't lie, I still post things on the traditional social media platforms, because I have long-term relationships from friends I grew up with, family members, people I worked with and a large concentration of connections in the ORANGETHEORY FITNESS community that are still on those platforms. The brand itself is on social media on a large scale.

There is a gradual shift though, where folks neglect one platform to go to the next and all for the same reasons of the toxicity that comes with social media or things just age out and the younger folks want to get away from the old fogies lol.

Although, I still may check in and post on those platforms; I have done so much less now that I'm a daily active user of dApps on the HIVE blockchain.

I never want to lose sight of how powerful this blockchain is, but in a good way.

Think about how much we have access to on HIVE.

On a personal level, I haven't even scratched the surface when it comes to dApps; but I take that shit seriously. Just like anything else, some things work better for me than others. I don't blame the platform, because it could be my hardware. It could be my WiFi. I mean there are dozen reasons why your use of a dApp is seamless and for me it just doesn't work well.

SO, I focus on those that work for me and more importantly, that I actually enjoy using like @ecency, @liketu, @leofinance, @peakd, anything relating to the CTP team and a few others.

The HIVE Ecosystem is badass!

I've heard @taskmaster4450le say on The Cryptomaniacs podcast that we should be talking more about what's on HIVE opposed to pushing HIVE, because folks are not going to worry much about what makes it tick, but what usage are you getting from the platform being used like the powerhouse Splinterlands of the ecosystem.

That is even more important, when you double down on what this ecosystem offers if you are an aspiring entrepreneur or you actually have an online business already. @jongolson and the CLICK.TRACK.PROFIT team train folks through guides and videos.

The HIVE blockchain has a multitude of dApps that will help build your personal brand or what you are promoting at a time where there is underpriced attention.

Folks, we have the opportunity to take full advantage of this underpriced attention while the crypto space is self destructing outside of this blockchain.

Blockchains, Crypto, DeFi, Web3, VR, etc. All that shit is here to stay and HIVE will still be standing once the dust settles.

Make sure we are giving major props to those go to applications on HIVE that are a big part of us staying that way.
