I4I #19 - Overdeliver

As I've teetered for many years on becoming my own boss, the ebbs and flows of life has always put me in a position to work for others. I don't truly knock it, because at the end of the day; I'm far from the only one. We are conditioned that way from the day we start our education. I speak from being an American and growing up in the ghetto side of Brooklyn, New York.

I admire those that have been entrepreneurs all, most or some of their lives, because they are badasses.

There has always been a part of me that has refused to be a slave to conformity and that is why I would fight tooth and nail before I would work in certain industries. I continue to put effort towards earning an extra income online and am always confident that the tide will always turn my way, long-term. Finding HIVE by way of CTP has done that.

In a nutshell, I am not afraid of work; I just always want to have the ability to not be taken advantage of or being shitted on.

In my opinion and from my own expectations, when you reverse your mindset from owning a business to being a customer, what will separate those from doing business with you or buying anything from you, whether it be a product or service, the customer service will always win out. Those that add that extra effort to provide you quality service.

I take that mentality and I apply that when I'm an employee as I am now and have been for most of my life. I overdeliver and not because I'm told to. I'm just constructed that way. The point is, that whether I own a business or work for another entity, my intent will always be to go the extra mile for my external or internal customers.

Found this perfect quote to sum it all up:

"Always deliver more than expected" - LARRY PAGE

I completely agree!

I really like the quote and in working it is also my mentality.

My Father always told me to always do a little more than I can, always giving at least 110% is the key.

Nice post, congratulations!

That little extra is what makes good service providers stand out from others it is called adding more value than expected and only those that know how the world works think this way.
