We are well into the first month of the year, so it's safe to say that whatever happened the previous year - bad or good - that we have to continue on the path we have chosen towards the goals we have set for ourselves.

It would be hard to believe, that every person that is on the HIVE blockchain does not have goals of a better life or like myself creating a foundation for a comfortable future. We all have our own goals and it doesn't matter what they are as long as they make you happy.

Personally, the last couple of years have been rough, but I've always been good at picking myself up and dusting myself off throughout my rollercoaster of a life. I am totally proud of that about myself.

Dwelling on the shit storm that hits us troughout that road towards what we deem would be our personal success (never let anyone define what success is for you), never leads to anything good. It can mess you up bad. That is why, waking up each day is proof that there is another opportunity to do better than yesterday or build on what is working for you.

My favorite American football team played last night and it's currently playoff season and the statistics from the past spelled doom for my team. Adding to the mix they were playing against the team that had the best quarterback of all time who they have not found a way to beat - until last night.

With that said, my twentieth #index4index submission revolves around moving forward and not looking back with a quote from the Defensive Coordinator of my favorite american football team and this quote says it best:
