The last few days has been a bit mentally strenuous and physically uncomfortable for me, but like most challenges in my life; I will pull through. This won't be any different.

I saw a HIVE Tweet from the awesome @doze that prompted HIVERS to post what is our HIVE purpose. Using the hashtag #hivepurpose: HIS POST

Needless to say, the TWEET and his post came along my timeline at the perfect time during my recovery.

Doze is a very generous guy and produces a lot of awesome HIVE images and allows members to use them without any strings attached and I dig his stuff; so I proudly use some of them with some color changes I may make using CANVA, here and there.

It's also important to know, Doze is part of a team that has a proposal for an exciting addition to HIVE called HIVELAND - I voted for the proposal. It looks like another game changer for this blockchain.

He also creates some badass NFT's.

Ok, he's not looking for a War and Peace type post; so I want to keep this short and sweet.

MY HIVE PURPOSE

I give credit to the CTP team - @ctptalk - particularly @jongolson for introducing me to HIVE. I came by way of my online marketing journey off-chain and I am a proud member of CTP and their universe of products and services.

When I came on board, my mentality was geared to some of the old habits (some bad) that I came with to this blockchain. That dissipated quickly, as I realized the power of community and how important it is to do everything opposite what we are conditioned to do as affiliate marketers.

If what we do on HIVE (the correct way) is done off chain; there will be a lot less failure for those still searching for the ill-fated magic pill.

Although, I still dabble with some email marketing to grow my subscribers list on centralized platforms; I do so by working on introducing folks to HIVE through ListNerds. Slower process, but not concerned about that.

Yes, like most folks I want to earn enough through my activity and investment on HIVE and for myself to retire comfortable enough NOT to rely on anyone taking care of me and my fiancé when we retire.

More importantly, my HIVE purpose includes growing my reputation, HIVE power and personal brand in this amazing community; so I can be an integral part of it's continued growth and to motivate newcomers and veterans on the blockchain by being active and showing support on a daily basis.

Keep doing what you do, keep focusing on your goals, and enjoy your journey on the blockchain. There is a lot to learn for everyone here. You came from affiliate marketing? I know for a fact that I have to learn a lot about that! I'll admit, I'm completely worthless at that.

Everyone has his / her own strengths and flaws, and we can all learn together.

And I'm sure you will get where you want to be!

Well, my hive purpose is pretty simple. I play splinterlands and post about what I feel like I should. I am always out of ideas :P this is why i am not a regular poster. Sure who doesn't need ideas?

I don’t play splinterlands but I have index which invest in it, so you are n a popular space.

My Hive purpose? How about building a five to 10-year retirement plan? Does it make sense? 😂

Well, I want to build something that I can pass on later to my sons. I hope that time will come when they will appreciate what I am doing.

Thanks for bringing such an idea to my attention. Maybe, I will reflect further and examine myself why am I really on Hive?

Thanks for the tip about the Tweet. I will have to look at that. One of the reasons I came here to Hive is because I wanted to grow my business and learn how to engage with people the right way. And to really be part of a community. I love the idea of being able to retire without having to rely on any outside support. Have that just be extra.

Thanks, @jimmy.adames! 🙏When we were having lunch today my husband said he wished he would have invested in Tesla stock in the beginning. At that moment he was reading a quote from Elon Musk about the government and how they use our money. And I said to him that is exactly why I am using a little bit of my budget every month to put into the Crypto investing. I don't want to have to lament not doing it ten or even a few years down the road. And we don't have to pay an investment advisor to do it. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and the week ahead. 😀

My main Hive purpose is to complete some of my fictional stories. That, combined with interacting with others on the platform, creates worldwide connections, which is an absolutely fantastic byproduct.

Other reasons would be staying up to date on the crypto space, growing and building on my holdings and reputation, and create something of financial value for myself and my kids.
