Nerdy Notes
It's no secret by now, that I'm a huge fan of LISTNERDS and there are a lot of components to why I do and it could probably take 10 posts to cover it all, but I'll keep things as basic on why it's special to me.
I consider myself a humble person. When I post things about my health and fitness, my place on a leaderboard or anything that may seem self-serving; I'm coming from an angle of - "if I can do it anyone can" mentality.
When I workout, I'm not the younger person in the fitness studio, I'm not the best rower, I'm not the fastest runner and I'm sure not the strongest; but I'm going on 56 years old and with all the aches and pains from years of High Intensity Interval Training sessions, I still show up 5 to 6 days out of the week and one of those two days that I don't - I'm participating in Run Club or a Running Event.
I like to think that I'm motivating folks, because dude; it's not fucking easy.
Reverting back to my ListNerds fanaticism, let me start out by saying that just a handful of us actually were ListNerds member; before it became the first blockchain mailer on planet earth.
We were members, before HIVE was even a thought and we were doing our online marketing thing off chain. I still do, although not with as much fervor. I give more of my free time towards HIVE and then squeeze in what I can with my email marketing and promoting off chain.
So familiarity with mailers and the owners of CTP, it was a no-brainer that we wouldn't be part of the relaunch when it came onto HIVE.
I was already sold on HIVE through CLICK.TRACK.PROFIT, but knowing that they were taking their mailer and putting it on HIVE was an EPIC move and trust me, I like many; belong to hundreds of mailers. Most mailers are shitty, but there are some that still generates subscribers for me. If they ever decide to follow the Nerdy model; it's on son.
Having that familiarity with the platform, I feel provided some of us with a bit of an advantage or did it?
Early on I was excited about the news, but with an online marketing mentality towards it.
Fast forward the few months ListNerds has been up and running on this amazing blockchain and @thisismylife pretty much proved otherwise. She was no online marketer and she is the Queen of ListNerds.
More importantly, she has organically brought folks on to the mailer and they are crushing it too.
Just like I haven't miss a day on HIVE since I became active, I have not missed a day on ListNerds since it's relaunch.
So, what does that do?
Having the ability to have instant access to some amazing HIVE content creators sharing their posts or other awesome HIVER's post through the mailer is priceless.
and with that, I get to meet some badass folks on this kickass community.
This guy has been on HIVE way before me, but I discovered his content through ListNerds and I'm glad I did.
He is crushing it on LISTNERDS, but he has his pros and cons towards it and I'm admittedly bias; therefore it's always a breath fresh of air to get other's point of views - who actually use it:

and one more person, that I'm really jazzed about. Again, there are just so many more I would love to cover; but my ass has a J.O.B. and I have to pay them bills is my buddy John.
Man, this guy is a force to be reckon with. He's been on HIVE or active on HIVE since January and you would never believe that. The guy is old school like me, but man; he has pivoted his brand on HIVE and can already teach us a thing or two about, as he is consistently learning and teaching along the way.
Oh and did I mention? He is #1 on the ListNerds Richlist and yes he knocked me out of first place and I'm super stoked it was my boy John who did so and here is a recent post by him. This is a wonderful post, because John came onto HIVE, because of ListNerds. Not to mention the guy comes with solid online marketing experience, but this is a must read: Everyone has something to write about
At the end of the day, ListNerds represents what the HIVE blockchain thrives on; COMMUNITY, DEVELOPMENT and USE CASE
and yes, there is some downward shit going across the board; but what keeps me motivated is how many amazing people are part of this community and that we have folks like the CTP team that is putting monster platforms on the chain that enhances our brands and engagement and that not only can it be used in a traditional sense it was initially set out to be, it now is a formidable bridge from ListNerds to HIVE and HIVE to ListNerds.
Kudos again to @beststart for not taking the number one spot on the ListNerds Richlist, but for hitting and going over 15,000

Thanks for the shoutout! I am pretty impressed with Listnerds. I really think it is moving in the right direction and it has a lot of potential. Just call me cautiously optimistic. Especially given the events of the past week. I think it is important to take a measured approach to anything where money is involved.
I never thought anyone would pass you in Listnerds but that is pretty amazing. Your consistency is great and I do think Listnerds is a great addition to the Hive ecosystem.

I hate to be this guy but you are selling yourself short. I am disagreeing with you, because no not everyone can do what you do on Listnerds. You were the first person to consistently use LN to rep your hive blog, and promote others. Everyone was talking about you, @taskmaster4450 and @jongolson were extremely impressed, by following your example I achieved a bit of success on Listnerds. Plus you have not missed a day your intestinal fortitude is amazing, and this old jar-head is very impressed.
