The Essence of What Will Be

When you visualize the ultimate goal for yourself and you take that, for most, long journey; remaining resolute towards that path is the key.

Perhaps, that is a naïve way of looking at things, but it's difficult to understand; how anything that is worth it, being easy to attain. I mean, I only know working my way up in life, as I did not come from a well off situation. The ghetto streets of Brooklyn was my mentorship, being raised by my late mother who had very little to give and always having to keep my head on a swivel; as I navigated through some rough patches in life.

I guess, being street smart, earning an Associates degree later in life and having a couple of great jobs on Wall Street and Madison Avenue in New York City combined for me to see the brutal truths about life and how money talks bullshit walks.

Most of us have control our destiny, but the reality is; that there will be those damn nooks and crannies of life that works on dragging you down and it's up to us; to learn how to get through those unscathed. More so, having the motivation to push though it. If you want something so bad, you can taste it; then it's impossible to sit around and expect it to be handed to you on a silver platter.

Yes, I believe there is some destiny within our being; that goes beyond our control. With that said, we have the power to carve out a passable trail towards our ultimate goal(s). Of course, some of us are blessed with a head start, an easier path or whatever aids some more than others; but ultimately we are the true driver towards that success.
