Tree Hugger

Found this photo in my iPhone10 camera roll and it's one of many that I have taken at Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando, here in Central Florida.

I'm not too familiar with lizards and I at least through a search I did there are 10 lizard species found in Florida. Whether, that is absolute I wouldn't be able to tell you.

I can't say I find reptiles all that interesting to take pictures of unless there is something more to the picture than the reptile.

In this case, I saw this pretty big lizard on a this awesome tree and I just thought the whole scene of it hanging on the tree as it was hugging it, seemed pretty cool.

I mean if you want to take pictures of birds and lizards, there are plenty to take photos on in Lake Eola Park.

I'm ending the week with some highs and some lows which has been a constant the last couple of years. Been hit hard with COVID in 2021 and the car accident a few months and a pretty bad hamstring pull a few months ago. That has put a huge hit towards my health and fitness journey and thought I was completely out of the woods but still have to see another specialist on the invasive side of things, but don't see it going past it just being a consultation. It's a given that I have some injuries that will be with me for the rest of my life, but I will work hard not to affect my quality of life without having to go under the knife, over medication, etc. The BIGGEST reason, I went all in on my health and fitness is too be better able to deal with situations like this without having to do the status quo.

Now let me do like that lizard and go hug a tree.

Tree hugging is meant to be very good for your well-being 🙂

Hope everything works out with your consultation.

That's a nice way of looking at it, seeing it as lizzy hugging the tree and doing the same. Good luck and loads of positive energy! I wish you the pink of health.

I do not generally favor reptiles, but the geckos and lizards are kind of cool.
Good photo, Jimmy.

You are doing great Jimmy.
Keep up the good work!
I have an old injury in my left lower back and hamstring injury from lifting too much at work in 1993. It was a terra cotta pot and I forgot to bend my knees.
I didn't let it keep me down. I know how hard it is too, how upsetting and painful it can be at first. The injury was bad but I still have to work on that side of my body more to strengthen it. Don't give up and rest when you can. Be careful too and ice it. I learned how to take weight off of certain parts of my body learning ballet. It comes in very handy :)
You can learn another way I am sure but even football players learn ballet. Very basic ballet would help. You learn to take all the weight in your core and be on top of your legs and stay lifted up in your core, chest, neck. It takes some work and sometimes over the counter pain relievers, and ice, but it works! I'm still doing this treatment to this day so as not to put too much weight on my hip and knee joints. I also do core strengthening in yoga and lower back pain exercises. Hang in there!
Have a great day and evening!

Beautiful photo! I'm not familiar with lizards much either, sorry to hear about the injury. Jimmy. But I like the positivity of your post reflecting your life in recent years/months while in nature. Thank you for sharing, I hope all will be well with your health & fitness.

Thank You very much Ray 🙏🏼

I try to look at the bright side of things, but this one has been a bit rougher.

Love this and love lizards, in Mexico there are so many iguanas and I have found myself a little obsessed with them. They are so damn cute! We also saw some running the other day, which was awesome. lol
