What is an ETF? From a New Yorker's Perspective

As a born, raised and made a living there for many years New Yorker, I’m used to the hustle and bustle of the city. But when it comes to investing, I’m a total newbie, so listening and reading from various channels including here on HIVE more specifically @leofinance, LEOGLOSSARY and the AMA and The Cryptomaniacs podcasts, it has been an educational journey to say the least.

The term ETF or EXCHANGE-TRADED FUND was being bandied about then my curiousity peaked and I decided to look it up and get a basic meaning of what it was.

So when numerous hedge funds and investment firms submitted applications to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) seeking approval for Bitcoin ETFs then it made me getting into what it was about important if I wanted to eventually get into the macro of investing and learning the markets more seriously.

For this post, I figure I'll throw some levity into it by coming at you from a New Yorker's voice since hey, it's what I am.
