Hello, guys welcome to another show it's @joetunex and @josediccus here again. In today's video, which is a spin-off of last week's podcast, we talked about, Nigerians and their various business establishment outside the country in search of greener pastures.

We analyzed issues relating to income, reputation, and well-being of Nigerians outside the country and used some vivid, relatable, and personal experiences, including the stories of other people to talk about living overseas for some Nigerians.

It's no news that most Nigerian citizens suffer this reputational stigmatization as a result of the precedents of fellow Nigerians, their infamous exploits, and how this seems to become a barrier for the Nigerian people to strive outside their country without being limited to a certain extent.

We also talked about the availability of jobs, different skill sets, and the pressure and expectancy of a regular Nigerian who is leaving their country. We analyzed how external pressure to make it creates a "get-rich-or-die-trying" mentality often pushes some people off the right path in the strive to make everything happen for them.

However, we also discussed some positive aspects and also a lot of Nigerians who have done well for themselves outside their countries. We ended the show by asking people to keep doing their research, embody the right skills, and engage in legal businesses in whichever business they choose to do.

Lmao not @josediccus smiling the entire time at the beginning. You can’t hide the excitement in anticipation of the discussion huh?😂 That mosquito(or whatever) that was bugging you wanted a feel of that energy lol.

How dumb am I if I publicly admit that I didn’t know why 9 to 5s were called 9 to 5? I always here 9 to 5 and I subconsciously understand what people mean when they refer to it, but your analogy of it gives it a way simpler understanding.

Ice packing? Nah count me out. Fuck tough skin.😂 I do admit that though that us Africans are really adaptive and industrious though. I see us working jobs I don’t think many other people will do, and we do them for free even sometimes.

My short attention span didn’t allow me go past 12 minutes, but I enjoyed the 12 minutes I saw and maybe I’ll come back later to do another 12 minutes two more times. I like this talk.

It was still very good to have you watch close to 12 minutes. The truth is that we didn't intentionally make report cards to be very long. However the discussion was a spinoff of what we talked about last week's show. It was an interesting conversation about Nigerians and seeking for greener pastures outside the country.

I would also admit to you that I did not know the meaning of 9 to 5 before some months ago, I only got to learn about it from making research and also since I started finance it is inevitable that I will know about it.

I must admit that Africans are probably the strongest of people and not even because of skin colour but because of how they tend to survive bad government, little or no opportunities and still continue to strive.

Me and Joe takes time to do some of these podcast every Tuesday but we upload every Friday.
We are glad that you came through.

Thanks for watching, it might enjoy anther 12 minutes of the talk and another 12 minutes lol. Most of the time we have so much to say but we try staying brief for our viewers.

Africans are tough, we can endure and are industrious like you mentioned. I wish the continent is able to provide what we need for us so we stop traveling out for greener pasture, sometimes it is comes with too much stress being out there in a foreign land.

Our resilience has been our best adaptive feature and allows us to work many jobs others generally wouldn’t. I think the way life here has built us, we’re almost invisible after being through and surviving so much. We pray things become better here in Africa, but at the same time, we need to move out to seek wealth and success when necessary. May God bless our hustle.
