Ethereum users can now join a growing blogging platform to share their content on anything investment, finance or money related. The community of LeoFinance invites the Ethereum community to join.

It's an easy process to get started - simply navigate to LeoFinance and click the get started button in the top right corner. Links will then pop up to create a new account via metamask. The back end of this site is built on HIVE, taking care of the behind the scenes stuff that HIVE does well - blogging, and on-chain content. Having the option to create an account, and use Metamask for login takes the pain out of using and learning a new Blockchain. If you want to learn more, @leofinance's launch post is packed with details and a great guide to how this cross-chain functionality is being rolled out.

What sort of content is welcome?

Long story short - anything to do with money. Investment - both crypto and fiat topics welcome, stock, FOREX, crypto, precious metals, you name it. Personal finances, investing in games, your favorite DeFi gems, Macro-economics, whatever floats your boat really, within a broad finance theme.

Earn ETH for blogging.

A short time ago, the LeoFinance community built a cross chain expansion by creating a wrapped version of its token - WLEO. That program has hit a stumbling block, with a hack leading to funds being drained from the LP and many LEO community members out of pocket. Undeterred, the Leo team are working through the causes and consequences of this attack, and planning compensation, and working towards a stronger, more robust and secure version 2 of WLEO.

In the meantime, a third party service has been implemented, to allow an easy conversion of LEO rewards directly into ETH. Put simply, you can create content here on LeoFinance, interact and build your own niche here, and take your rewards as ETH. And it works, I have pulled some LEO tokens out into ETH and within a couple of minutes.

For everyone...

LeoFinance is a great place, whether you are keen to learn more about crypto, keen to share news and opinions about your favorite DeFi investments, or anything else. Create content, share it to your Twitter followers, and store your content securely on Web 3. We all know how heavy-handed many of the old-fashioned Web 2 sites are becoming around censorship and hiding certain content. LeoFinance has no censorship. Content is immutably stored on-chain, and cannot be altered. Don't wait till Web 2 shuts you down, start backing up your content securely before the next purge. Engage with the community and see how your content could even produce a nice little flow of income.

I hope they'll also invest some eth into Leopower, not like in the old days of steemit when Youtubers joined just to drain the reward pool.

That's the hope - I think ETH people are a different crowd. I wasn't really around HIVE when the youtubers came to drain the pool, but I think (hope) ETH people will see the value of staking and building up their LEO holdings over time.

Time will tell I guess.

I couldn't even wait for the announcement to send LEO over to ETH in my Metamask account. Then it was straight into the Balancer LP you told me about.

Taskmaster has a call to raise the bar by leaving and voting on more comments. Seems easy enough to do around here. Things are alright, gotta wear shades. 😎😎

The beauty of comments here on LEO is that thanks to the flat curve now, comment voting can be carried out without hurting rewards. Even a part of a LEO vote on comments can lead to a big improvement in engagement and bring the place alive a bit.

Balancer LP should pay its first rewards for you tomorrow I think. When you get it, work out the annualized return and see what you think; ;-)

I never realized that comment voting affected the rewards of the HIVE post. Interesting info.

So the Balancer LP pays every Tuesday? Another interesting thing is how the price action of $BAL has been dropping. I was thinking of asking if you knew why, but I haven't even gone as far as checking Twitter yet. No biggie. It'll come back. 🙂👍

Thanks mate, content aimed outside of LEO in particular and HIVE in general is an important and underrated method of growing HIVE. More outsiders eye's on the various HIVE website's increases the chances of new people discovering HIVE and getting involved.

A potential community has been exposed to leofinance. I know some many eth users are not interested in hive platform because some of them not bloggers or content creators. Integration leo and metamask make leo network can be seen in eth network. More people see more people join leo

The tools are being put in place by the LeoFinance team. Then everyone can do their bit to help market and promote what LEO and HIVE has to offer. Easy integration with Metamask and a path to Ethereum opens a whole new audience up.

This is actually one of the reasons that i stay still glued to leofinance. Their energy in making sure that the hack doesn't affect the entire system is quite amazing and impactful. Glad to be a part of this great family.

Leofinance has been doing exemplary well since the beginning, of course, that's because of the team and its experienced and dedicated community. I am sure, not only we'll learn a lot from ETH users' experiences but they'll learn a thing or two from us, leofinance users, as well, and for being a part of a promising platform would be a bonus for them.
