Hello to all my #Hive friends.... Today I'm here again with more photos from "my streets".... Maybe these photos today can't all be categorized as "street photography", but I can attest this shots were all taken in my town's streets 😊... However, I have to accept maybe the focus of these photographs has to do with the need to do a little "catharsis", because lately things are not so good here... But perhaps it could be a topic for another type of publications... So, let's go for the photos!...

Hola a toda mi gente amiga de #Hive... Hoy estoy aquí nuevamente con más fotografías desde "mis calles"... Quizás estas fotos de hoy no puedan ser catalogadas todas como "fotografía callejera", pero puedo dar fe de qué todas fueron hechas en las calles de mi pueblo... Sin embargo, tengo que aceptar que el enfoque de estas fotografías quizás tenga que ver con la necesidad de hacer un poco de "catarsis", pues últimamente las cosas no están del todo bien aquí... Pero ese quizás pueda ser un tema para otro tipo de publicaciones... Así que ¡Vayamos a por las fotos entonces!...

"Manolo in the corner"... Well, this is a pretty typical street photo... And in it you can see part of Carabobo Avenue in the town center... The thin man with his hands behind is "Manolo Osorio" doing what he likes to do most in the mornings: "Standing on the street corner in front of his house"... ha ha ha.... 😂... It's hard to take a picture of this area in the morning hours, without Manolo appearing there.

"Manolo en la esquina"... Bien, esta sí es una fotografía de calle bastante típica... Y en ella se puede observar parte de la Av. Carabobo en el centro del pueblo... El hombre delgado con las manos detrás es "Manolo Osorio" haciendo lo que más le gusta hacer en las mañanas: "Estar de pié en la esquina de la calle frente de su casa"... ha ha ha... 😂... Es difícil hacer una fotos de este sector en horas de la mañana, sin que Manolo aparezca allí.

"Pigeons in the neighborhood".... This is what I mean when I say that I take photos as a "catharsis"... Just a couple of streets away from my house, a family of pigeons usually waits for the neighbors to throw them food every morning... Really a relaxing sight, at least for me... Because some cats see them as food!... ha ha ha... 😼

"Los pichones del vecindario"... A esto me refiero cuando digo que hago fotos un poco como "catarsis"... Apenas a un par de calles de mi casa, una familia de pichones suele esperar a que los vecinos les lancen comida cada mañana... Realmente una vista relajante, cuando menos para mi... ¡Porque algunos gatos los ven como alimento!... ha ha ha... 😼

"On the ground"... Yes, I took this photo lying on the ground in the middle of the street... So it's a strange street-photo!... But it's the first time that I see this kind of butterfly in the urban center of the village... I don't know its ID, but I'm sure I have seen it only in the mountains and in the riverside forests... They are moving into town!...😐

"En el suelo"... Sí, esta foto la hice acostado en el suelo en plena calle... ¡Entonces es una extraña foto-callejera!... Pero es la primera vez que veo esta especie de mariposa en el casco urbano del pueblo... No conozco su ID, pero estoy seguro de haberla visto solo en las montañas y en los bosques de ribera... ¡Se están mudando al pueblo!...😐

"Junk"... Yes, in the streets of my town, you can find many (too many I would say) vehicles rusting which, the best thing to do is to use them as an object to photograph, otherwise they can be excellent triggers for a depressive crisis, due to the ugliness caused by them in the streets.

"Chatarra"... Sí, en las calles de mi pueblo, se pueden encontrar muchos (demasiados diría yo) vehículos oxidándose qué, lo mejor que s puede hacer es usarlos como objeto para fotografiar, pues en caso contrarío pueden ser excelentes detonantes para una crisis depresiva, debido a la fealdad que generan en las calles.

"The mayor's office".... Gee, the more I look at the garish orange color of the walls of the local mayor's office, I become more convinced that it must have been donated by one of his political opponents... ha ha ha... 😂😂😂

"La alcaldía"... Caray, mientras más observo el color chillón anaranjado de las paredes de la alcaldía local, me convenzo más de que el mismo tiene que haber sido donado por alguno de sus opositores políticos... ha ha ha... 😂😂😂

"We need pigeons"... Yes, I told them... Some of these cats may look lazy, but in reality they "feign disinterest" and will surely want a fat pigeon for breakfast.... But it's undeniable... They are cute and cuddly cats!... 😻😻

"Necesitamos pichones"... Sí, se los he dicho... Algunos de estos gatos pueden parecer perezosos, pero en realidad "fingen desinterés" y seguramente querrán desayunar un gordo pichón... ¡Pero es innegable que son lindos y adorables gatos!... 😻😻

"The old Chevrolet"... Yes, definitely, one of the things where the problems of the local economy are most reflected is in the vehicle fleet... In a few years classic collectors will come here to stock up!... 😂🚗

"La vieja Chevrolet"... Sí, definitivamente, una de las cosas en donde más se reflejan los problemas de la economía local, es en parque automotor... En pocos años los coleccionista de clásicos vendrán aquí a proveerse!... 😂🚗

"The kiosk"... Sometimes I walk through some streets I didn't know and certain things make me curious... Like this "kiosk" placed in the street without any shelter... Their duels simply arrive in the mornings and place the merchandise, but the furniture and even those nice plants, remain there during the nights... Hummm... It seems to me that those plants have their days numbered there... Surely some housewife has already had an eye on them!... 😂😂

"El kiosco"... A veces camino por algunas calles que desconocía y ciertas cosas me causan curiosidad... Como este "kiosko" colocado en la calle sin resguardo alguno... Sus duelos simplemente llegan en las mañanas y colocan la mercancía, pero los muebles e inclusive esas lindas plantas, permanecen allí durante las noches... Hummm... Me parece que esas plantas tienen sus días contados allí... ¡Seguramente alguna ama de casa ya ha puesto un ojo en ellas!... 😂😂

"John Deere"... Well... Not only the street vehicles are already classics here!... Also the agricultural machinery has representatives from the 70's and 80's!... And this is not the oldest one we have here, as I have seen them even older!... Hummm... I'll try to take some pics of those others any time now... 📷

Bien... ¡No solo los vehículos de calle son ya clásicos aquí!... ¡También la maquinaría agrícola tiene representantes de los 70 y 80!... ¡Y este no es el más viejo que tenemos por aquí, pues los he visto aún de mayor edad!... Hummm... Intentaré hacer algunas fotos de esos otros en cualquier momento... 📷

"End with streets".... Yes, let's end this post with a "typical" street shot in my neighborhood, where you can see my neighbor keeping something inside his house, while his couple of "very bad-tempered" dogs are getting ready to start threatening and possibly chasing me, while my neighbor ignores the situation... 🐶😂

"Finalizar con calles".... Sí, terminemos esta publicación con una foto "típica" de las calles de mi vecindario, en donde se puede observar a mi vecino guardando algo dentro de su casa, mientras su pareja de "muy malhumorados" perros se prepara para comenzar ha amenazarme y posiblemente perseguirme, mientras mi vecino hace caso omiso de tal situación...🐶😂

The best thing about taking pictures in the streets is perhaps the diversity of motives that I can come across... Although I have to confess that I'm making more and more "mental notes" while I'm taking pictures... So I'm getting more and more confused myself about the nature of my publications... They are no longer "just photographs and some comments", I think noe are more like "photo-stories"... That's something that has been fascinating me recently... Well, writing is something that I like as much as taking pictures, although for both things I am absolutely empirical... Maybe that's why I like both hobbies...

Lo mejor de todo esto de hacer fotos en las calles, es quizás la diversidad de motivos con los que puedo toparme... Aunque tengo que confesar que cada vez voy haciendo más y más "notas mentales" mientras voy haciendo las fotografías... Así que cada vez me confundo más a mi mismo, respecto a la naturaleza de mis publicaciones... Pues ya no son "solo fotografías y algún comentario" si no que cada vez son más como "foto-relatos"... Eso es algo que me ha venido fascinando recientemente... Pues escribir es algo que me gusta tanto como hacer fotos, aunque para ambas cosas soy absolutamente empírico... Quizás es por eso que me gustan ambas aficiones...
